so much cooler with a real chip though

Why even bother with the risk of a real chip when you can do all the same stuff with a soft mod?

And I still don't understand why Theresa wants to stab me...

It's probably because I can't do geometry.

And racism.

Inquiring minds need to know!

if you follow the instructions you get EXACTLY its incredibly easy to put in a solderless chip. however, speaking from experience, if oyu just kinda 'go for it', you fail
ended up buying another xbox motherboard off ebay

lol, I now own a piece of Ted that he can never have back.

Posted by biznology on Jul-11-2007 20:47:

paid 120 for a new one, and 160 for the 320GB hard drive. worth every penny. and another 30 in 'miscellaneous costs'|

and even if its solderless, you will likely lose the connection and have to solder it anyways.

Already got one from Ted Promo, got it h4xed, and now I'm playing the 1994 Arcade Smash hit from Sega, Jurassic Park.

I've never felt more alive.

Posted by denys envy on Jul-16-2007 00:14:

cheap like what?

like bargain cheap... or canadian whore cheap?

they're at the same price but one comes with herpes.

Posted by Ian on Jul-16-2007 00:15:

lol the only game i ever played on it was NHL2003. When my brother went to uni, I gave up as 1 player was never as fun, got a gamecube & spent 1000x as much playing time on there, gave my x-box to my lil cousin. Right now, waiting til i can buy a Wii and get some sega classics going on there + nes stuff

Posted by RJT on Jul-16-2007 00:17:

The Xbox I have now has every NES, SNES, Genesis, GBA, and Neo Geo game, not to mention Arcade gems such as The Simpsons and WWF Wrestlefest.

Words dorkiest nostalgia trip, dead ahead.

Posted by Flec on Jul-16-2007 00:32:

EDIT:

I just asked my wife If I could buy an Xbox RJT-style and she said no. I hid a dirty gym sock in her pillow.

Weak, IMO.
