id love to go to berlin but you have it easy. you work for the damn airline. id be paying too much to go.

Posted by all-nite-freak on Jul-11-2007 19:56:

you can go to detroit and play hide from the blackies.

when burridge played it it was good.

if you're sticking to north america, hit up NYC. that would make for a great first trip out of cali.

i have a few places on my own nye list but they're all outside of the americas.

a hotel room in nyc on new years is 5 times the price of here

europe is cheap in the winter, even for you paying folk. i just pulled a week-long fare over NYE for $700 roundtrip [LAX-BER connecting in london] on expedia. guaranteed you can get a package trip to include your lodging for about the same price. think about redeeming airmiles or hotel/credit card point if you've got the option. sure NYE seems far away, but you can save a grand by booking now.

and airline rates?

that wasn't an airline rate. they don't cater to anyone in NYC during NYE.

like i said...i had booked the room nearly a year in advance.

yeah im well aware of how to get the best rates (although im not immediately in a position to book anything in about 1-2 months for sure will be) but berlin would be MUCH more expensive. consider all the expenses. and knowing me ill spend $200usd in 1 night if the conditions are right. i dont have the money to spend 2k for an NYE trip. haha although that would be one fucking fun trip!
