Watching a soccer game at a football stadium isn't really different from watching it in a soccer specific stadium IMO.

It's bad that you're not close to the action, but good that you get a better view of the game when the action goes to the other side of the field. You want to be higher up when you get the corner seats.

more tickets were released

(upper level seating) $170.00

options 2 - Sideline Package

i got back from the game and got to see beckham set up 2 nice goals. one off a free kick and another off a corner kick. too bad the rest of his team sucks.

got to see the red bulls win 5-4 on a last minute goal by Juan Pablo Angel. nice size crowd for the game (66,000+)

Most of you are fucking idiots....Beckham has proved himself on a "WORLD" level,,scoring goals against most of the top teams in the fucking "PLANET"....

Just because the USA suck at the most popular sport on earth it doesn't mean it's a bad sport....

I'm sure that if blowing the shit out of third world countries was a sport then at least you'd be reasonably good at something...

that's still too expensive for a game no one gave a shit about prior to beckham joining the team.

for the entire game, it was definitely worth it. very entertaining despite the times I had to shake my head over the occasional
play. Beckham did play a full game. I'd pay $45 in a heartbeat to watch it again.

as for expensive, this is nothing. I've paid way more to watch Manchester United play at Old Trafford

To each his own bro, but my point is only that i wouldn't pay $45 to watch a AAA game even if Roger Clemens was pitching. Essentially that's what you're getting here; a bunch of soccer players not quite good enough to make it to the bigs in europe, with a quality major league player in their midst (i.e., beckham).

I wouldn't pay $45 to watch Clemens pitch if we were playing The Red Sox in the ALCS...

now that's a crap statement and you know it. MLB is huge in Japan and Latin America, the NBA is the only REAL basketball league in the world, and the NHL is clearly the only destination for real hockey players from canada and eastern europe.

EDIT: I also love how i see tons of europeans walking around with yankees hats. i bet not one of them could tell me a single yankee. But i guess that goes to show you the lure of america.

Being popular in Japan and Latin America is Hardly worldwide and in Europe basketball is a game played by girls called "net ball".....

And youre right people in Europe couldn't name one person in the Yankees starting rotation because its a game played in very few countries...The NYY symbol to europeans is a New York thing not a Yankees thing..

Hey bro...I was a prime example..Before I came here I subconsciously bought a Yankees ruck sack not even knowing the significance..

I had a Dimaggio shirt when I was a kid as well...I knew fuck all about baseball but I knew he fucked Monroe...
I was pissed that he fucked her before me..
