i personally like bay area weather because it's never too hot or too cold with all the microclimates around here. when it's 100 in la, you can usually find temp ranges from 70-100 within a 30 mile drive around the bay area. the lack of haze also adds to the enjoyment.

la does have some amazing food, especially in the asian cuisine department, but the same is true of sf and nyc. i think we are all definitely lucky and spoiled living in this region of this nation, but many of these arguments are better suited for comparisons with the south and midwest. i could not in a million years imagine living somewhere like alabama, oklahoma or nebraska. what trips me out is how many of the people who live there that have NEVER once ventured out of the state borders their entire life. talk about a small existence!

This is true, fuck...me neither.

but i bet alot of the poeple in those states say the same thing about living in a big city full of a bunch of crazies!

and the food IS one of the best parts about socal, as it is one of the most diverse cities in the country....especially love the mexican food!!

I love SF too, especially the vibe in the club scene and the public transportation... but damn that wind chill factor hits my skinny ass

We can prepare a sampling of the West Coast's finest horticulture.

I love SF/LA equally. Being an 1.5 drive from SF and an 1.5 flight from LA makes both cities well within reach to get away from shithole Sacramento. Its funny being introduced to new people in both places and them not understanding that I live in Sacramento but am in SF/LA/SD almost every weekend. I always get the question "So where are you from? I don't get it?"

For me it comes from here in So Cal. Don't get me wrong though, Nor Cal produces bud that is just as great. Lucky for me the really good stuff doesn't have to come from Nor Cal.

Smog? Move out of LA and move into OC, Whittier, Cerritos, IE. We don't have the smog problem.

Your other complaints are all about who you hang out with, and where you hang out at.

Oh what! You're gonna miss Chem Bros? I thought for sure you would see them.

What the fuck are you smoking Woody? OC doesn't have smog, but anything east of Pasadena/Downtown has HORRIBLE air quality most of the time. All the pollution in the LA basin gets blown into the Inland Empire. Just look at the back page of the California section in the times. When LA has green air quality the valley and San Bernadino are always yellow/orange.

And yeah, I'm missing Chemical Brothers, cause Sasha >

although i've only seen Sasha do a massive once...

once in a blue moon...

oakey and the chems were headling...

S&D were in a side room...

they fuck'n ripped it...

dont know how Sasha will do this time around, but he never fails to impress...

at least he looks pimp doin it!

Yes, we're lucky...just enjoy it as much as you can.

But, I agree, in LA, I don't meet as many people into the vibe/music as I do in NY or London.

Here, I just go out with all of you, and ignore the fakers; it's much easier that way.
