At least huntsman spiders aren't poisonous and you can just beat them to death with a stick or get the cat to nail them.

These however kill people really well and they're about the same size.

I just don't know how to mail a couple to Laz...

I'd just spray deodorant on it. Usually works

cologne also works.

clearly you are a pussy as i am when it comes to bugs and try to spray then with anything. as spraying is a method to kill with out being near the bugs/devil childs.

I've actually had that happen only once and thankful I was slowing down to stop at the time but it must have looked fairly weird to the people in traffic, stabbing away at it on the dash with a mobile phone caddy
(I killed the bastard though!)
Deodorant doesn't work on huntsman's, it just 'pisses' them off.

Technically yes, however in the process of dying it will do it's damn best to bite your ass and they are really cranky spiders. Even the cat doesn't like eating them much, best to just club them with the spray can.

Members of the Huntsman family of spiders are very common in Australia, but also in many tropical and semi-tropical parts of the world. They have been introduced to many parts of the world, including China, Japan and southern parts of the United States, such as Florida and Puerto Rico.

Yeah, you do that.

As for me, I'm not going to spray bathroom cleaning on a 9" spider :P . I'll get a shovel or something

i do not think you understand the concept behind a phobia.

Posted by Frenchie on Jul-26-2007 05:55:

Dude, something that big I'd take something with a handle long enough for me not to go near it. Bathroom spray is for the itty bitty bugs that we get here Dude phobias..get the best of ya, or should I say the worst

and dude, var, don't quote me. You haven't earned that right yet.

haahah ive actually had one on my sun visor and as ive pulled it down i seen it and go "OH SHIT" and slammed it up.
Mum was in the car with me and was like what what, im like look and flipped it down again, she starts screaming hysterical, im laughing and kept driving but i was holding the sunvisor up and shes yelling at me to pull over. As soon as i took my hand off the little bastard went running down the front of my windscreen. That was it for me, i was out the car door so fast

I actually have a huge problem with white tail spiders in my bedroom, they are always around at summer time, thankfully never been bitten. Have taken some photos of them running over my keyboard and shit, will post them when i find them
