I have no clue if this qualifies, but I have a friend who used to swear by Queens of the Stone Age. I tried to listen, but fuck me running I just could not listen to that stuff.
Someone tell me if QOTSA qualifies.

Okay, I wasn't sure. I still can't listen to them. Maybe I'm just old and set in my ways. I'm pretty sure my friend got laid as a result, though, that sneaky bastard.
