and yea, he did experience laptop problems that at the mbar. Then when he came back up with the song (Love Comes Again) you could clearly hear that there were sound issues as far as clarity and what not goes, and the rest of the night sound wise was ruined.

as much as I'd like to get hired, if you pick Matthias I'll have no complaints either, lol.

Holy shit... for that ferry corsten show... what the fck man. Alex c was good. But those xm radio guys suck. Seriously. I heard 1 song by store n foreward n I thought they were pretty damn good. I saw em play n they crapped all over themselves. Oh and I heard freakin aria epica twice by the xm guys. Something that won't get out of my mind is when dj zordon or whatevr was like " this is the part where we have crowd participation " and he proceed to clap his hands. He deserved the cheese hat on that. Hahaha. Ferry did good as usual but I noticed some repeat tracks. But those tracks are absolute classics ( ferrys remix of dooms night, lef, etc...)

Don't give ur djs microphones...

Mathias is pretty sick behind the tables from what i hear on his cd's.
Would be nice to see him play out live again. Of course right before me LOL.

My bad. Haha kinda went off my tangent there. Hey ill b in town dec 16 for 2 weeks I believe. The ekg must re unite.

I believe by old school it is in reference to older productions. (Godspeed, dreaming, etc) I believe that is the promo's meaning on the flier as it is more enticing to fans as opposed to promoting that he will be using one piece of equipment over the other.

Posted by civicstyle on Aug-12-2007 00:56:

who knows best but the dj himself.

Heh, thanks man. In all honesty it would be nice to get to play out again.

My music is what it is, people either like it or they don't..and I'm grateful for those that do. Its just I can't compete with the politics involved in the business side of the scene. As long as it won't interfere with work, I will not turn down a gig.

In regards to the BT show, I might make that one just to see some people I haven't in a while. I'm sure the circumstances at M-Bar were beyond his control, but I hope this show is an improvement. The first time I saw BT perform at the Los Angeles Coliseum on NYE 2001 I was blown away. He had his entire setup, the crowd was 70,000ish, that was some serious shit.

Will be his entire set up...

Ok so does anyone actually know what kind of set he'll be playing? Old School Live Set isn't very descriptive. If it's going to be a DJ set then I'm less inclined to make the trip, but if he's gonna have all his equipment set up then I'm in
