Sighs...it seems that a lot of Singaporean girls are like that..lol
I've had my fair share back home and most of them, even platonic friends fancy conversations engaging in their Ex's.
Jeronemango, I would advise you to tell her straight in her face...it takes courage to do so, especially when you are dealing with a Singaporean chick here..It might jeopadize or make your relationship more worthwhile.
From her point of view, she might be that sorta girl who reminisces on on her past relationships incessantly because she feels the need to. However, to make a realtionship work, one must be able to put his or her past behind them.
As for Robbie Williams, I have no comments. This dude is making tons off money off the Asian Teenage Market plus he gets the babes...so just let her know that he's just a human being like all of us..which might seem pretty impossible, considering how Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong are going crazy of what the fuck they call --> F4?
Seems like you are very unhappy at this juncture...all I can say is...dump her while you can or you'll be even more miserable after...Regrets, you must be contemplating now...Here's the time to weigh your happiness and torment that you've experienced in the past 2 months...If it is so damn torturous, fuck it.
The ultimate decision lies with you...make a wise choice and we, TA's here will back you up... No point living your life this way...after all, there are tons of other Singaporean chicks, not to mention Aussie chicks out there for you to skew and chew...
Cheers

i had an ex boyfriend who really REALLY was into punk music (80s crass/uk subs style, not newer bubblegum punk).. i cant stand it.. but he always played it, always talked to me about it, because he likes that kind of music.
sometimes we dont like the same type of music as our partners. generally one learns to deal with it and smile and nod.. and to not complain because the person has different interests than us. |
Ok... I used to date a girl who listened to gothic methal. You know, I hate gothic metal. But she always played it when I was at her place and didn't stop talking about male vocalists, how they are attractive etc. I was so pissed! Although she knew I hated that kind of music, she played it, but she never let me play some trance to her. She didn't understand electronic at all. I really think it's gay - why did she play that music to me knowing I hate it? And why did she talk about the vocalists knowing it didn't interest me at all?
Yes, we broke up. She did some really shite to me and I decided not to call her again. I don't have memories about her, I accidently met her lately and I wasn't happy about it... I don't like her.

see, just more reasons why i love my girlfriend!!! she's not really into trance, which is generally fine, because she's into rock, and i like most forms of music, so it works out fine....but anyway, onto my point....when we first started going out, a friend of ours was going to see Bad Boy Bill in atlanta, of course i wanted to go, and my gf came with us! it was awesome! i mean she didn't dance or anything, cuz its not her thing, but still the fact that she went to something that she generally wouldn't go to was just great! hell, i do a lot of things i don't really want to for her now, just because of that....and it was at the beginning of the relationship too.....and now we're coming up on 6 months!
even when we're driving around (she generally plays dj in the car) and if there is some trance song in the car she'll stop on it and let it play (not that i care to hear the song, cuz its generally overplayed crap) but its still a nice thought
you just have to be open to each others ideas and opinions, and we are, so our relationship works really well
okay, enough sappy shit....girls if they play you, can be real bitches! you just have to find one that won't play you....mine used to play a lot, but now for some reason she's realized its wrong (mainly due to me i think) and i've actually gotten her to say "i love you" to me...first guy relationship type person she's ever said it to
...damn there goes the sappy crap again...okay, i'll end this reply now...

so anyways.

i see where you are coming from. when i said we have to deal with our partners choice in music there definitely is a line that i think shouldn't be crossed. i think its fine to want them to like your music... hell, chris tried really, really hard to get me to like punk.. he loved playing it for me. it was kinda cute in a way, but he didnt shove it in my face.. and he definitely let me play my industrial or black metal or something sometimes. she definitely doesnt sound like she was respecting you with what she was doing.. and thats all that matters.

yep, and my last b/f was using me for sex while fucking 3 other girls behind my back, including one of his ex'es. it swings both ways you know. all people can cheat on you, all people can play you, all people can manipulate you, regardless of gender.

that is the most imature shit i've heard in my life and i honestly don't think its true....i don't know any girl that would do that....the reason most girls/women do not suck "cock" is because they are afraid of getting the cum in their mouths
sounds like you've watched too many porn movies kid
and i'm sorry, i do not mean to insult you or anything, but there is no reason to get that specific or brag (because it seems as you are, even though she won't give you head as you say)

what girls do you associate with? i dont know anyone (and i REALLY dont know "most") who dont do that.. especially for that reason. i know basically zero people who are semen-phobic in any way.. and i dont even watch porn
might just be a young thing. i dont believe him anyways. hes just a kid

well then you're unlike most of the girls i hang out with....but then again most of the girls i hang out with and actually have real friendships with do not talk about that kind of stuff anyway, so maybe its just my crowd of people
edit: but still my point is this...think about it, if a girl doesn't want to give head (for whatever reason) do you REALLY think she would do what tranceaddict991 claims?
Posted by torontotrance on Apr-20-2002 18:01:
HONORARY BOY........since you asked......sure........be happy with that. As DMX once said........TALK IS CHEAP MOTHER****** and i view that with most of the stuff that ppl say. Like if the dude wants to view his girlfriend that way then let him.

yes, but did you know that the average American lost his or her virginity at age 16 ??
So when you say "kid", you have to be careful.
It turns out that a 15-16-yr-old person isn't really a "kid" anymore, even though everyone (including the parents) tries to hide anything sex-related from them, or not to expose them to nudity.
Give me a break, some of these 15-16-year-old teens have even had more experience than some adults! I am serious!
Just as a side-note: How can our government and our society be so naive, and try to run away from reality and censor what they think is "unsuitable for children," when the official statistic is that the average age of losing virginity in this country is 16 -- earlier than in any other country? And yet we're more conservative and hypocritical when it comes to sex than any other country, for example we never show any nudity on TV, whereas for example in Europe they do! Isn't this ironic?
My conclusion: don't treat a 15-year-old like a "kid," chances are he's got more experience in sex than you! Just a reality check. The fact that 16 is the average for first sexual experience means that there are as many 18-year-olds losing their virgnity as there are 14-year-olds. Think about this for a moment. And for every 20-year-old losing his virginity, there is a ... right... 12-year-old.
And these are true facts.

on the contrary, it has always been this way.
50 or 100 or 200 years ago, the average age was approximately the same, surprising as it may seem.
This is 100% true.
The only thing that has changed, is the fact that the first sexual experience nowadays does not normally occur within the parameters of marriage. But that's the only change -- the average age has always been about the same.

sexual experience to me does not constitute maturity nor acting of age in any way whatsoever. perhaps it does mean they have opened up a huge can of worms for themselves per say, and perhaps they will have to deal with a lot of shit related to sex that i didn't when i was 15, but in no means does that make me think they are not still a kid. 15 is young. thats why i say that.
and i certainly dont attribute having sex that young as a good thing.
Posted by torontotrance on Apr-20-2002 18:14:
Age has'nt changed in 100 yrs........whoa...interesting fact.....i believe you.
Posted by PatMcGroin on Apr-20-2002 18:16:
yes but i still consider them "kids"
they have no idea what they are doing and they are letting their need for sex overtake their mind...and thats when shit goes bad....its horrible seeing a kid who's in need for sex running around, they get angry, they'll do whatever....why do you think there is also an increase in rape? these "kids" will become so addicted to sex that it will turn them wrong....
its hard, its really hard, but i have will power and i'm managing....i'm 19 and i'm still a virgin, i've had plenty of girlfriends and my current one is 20, also a virgin, and we have to stop ourselves from having sex each time....we know what we're doing, but 16 year olds don't and thats why they are imature, hence why i can still call them "kids"
sexual experience does NOT make you more mature, just because you have sex does not mean you're no longer a kid, it just means you are no longer innocent....maturity is a state of mind
hell! go see the movie "Kids".....fucked up movie
Posted by sothis on Apr-20-2002 18:17:
oh, allow me to clarify.. i can see where my post might have been misconstrued. when i said i dont believe him because hes still a kid, i didnt mean that in terms of "i dont think he has had these experiences because of his age".. i see it as "i think hes bsing to sound cool and/or brag, especially since this thread isnt even about sex and he said it so randomly.. because of his age"

Nope, I disagree with you.
It seems there is a stigma attached to teenage sex, the fact that it's "bad" in some way, or that it's too early for teens to have sex.
I actually happen to think that children are just like adults, in all respects. They're equally sexual, for example; also, they too can be capable of true feelings of love. Therefore, I see absolutely nothing wrong with having sex at 15. It's a choice that a person makes, and you have to respect that choice -- even though it may seem, at first, that the person is too young.
Look: sexual experience does, in many ways, imply maturity. Suppose, for instance, that a certain boy was extremely shy around girls, couldn't talk to them in school, was very uptight and nervous, then he found a girlfriend and had sex with her; wouldn't you think that this would make his personality (when it comes to social life) a little more open, less shy, and more confident, especially around girls?
I'm being a little blunt here, but I'm also being honest. If your social outlook and your self-confidence have undergone certain positive changes after your first sexual experience in your teenage years, then this experience did increase your maturity...
By the way, anybody here care to discuss whether or not they became more mature and socially adaptive / less shy, as a result of their first sexual experience?

although I respect your choice, I disagree with it completely and see no reason why a loving couple should stop themselves from the completely natural and normal urge to experience the most pleasant and beautiful thing in the world.
