Doesnt beat the dome. Looks pretty much the same as the last model.. Which isn't a bad thing, but I still think the idea of it collapsing into a laptop design is the next step. I really like that idea.

dude name a company that does more for their warranty than anyone. i personally have NEVER seen pc company replace a machine after the warranty is over. i have seen time and time again that apple does this. that alone is worth it.

also, with the wireless internet - you still have to buy some kind of wireless signal thingy like a router or soemthing....

it's not like your coax cable that comes into your house sends out a wireless signal to the imac to pick it up....

Mm-hmm. When I bought my Powerbook, I received an Ipod mini because I'm a student. I'd never bother buying an Ipod so I figured why the fuck not get it for free? It broke. I brought it back under warranty, got a new one. That one broke, I brought it back still under warranty, I got a new one. That one broke, I brought it back three days before the warranty ended and got a new one. They wanted me to pay $60 for another years warranty but I absolutely refuse to spend money on an Ipod so I said no. The one I currently have has worked great ever since, and that was last September.

Stopped by the local Apple Store today (@ Roosevelt Field - Cousin was looking for clear case for his iPhone). Saw that they already had these in (including the new Keyboard).

They look great. The keyboards do, too. Unfortunately, the latter aren't particularly too great to use. The specs on the device are awesome.

Btw, Since this is becoming another Apple Thread, i was just wondering if there is any difference except for screen size availability between the macbook and the macbook pro. I'm thinking about buying a mac and i'm still deciding... all i will be using it for is, school, work, web surfing. Which one should i go for?

MacBook pro has an aluminium casing, also it has a better video card, bigger hard drive, more ram faster processor etc. If you can afford it go for the macbook pro. The keys also have a back light on the macbook pro.

Have you seen demos for their upcoming OS? Leopard or Tiger or Mongoose or whatever it's called. Rather impressive.
