Honestly, I think that next time you're at my house I'll formally introduce you to my Louie. He may not be a smart man, but he knows what love is.

That's goddamn right Molly! I don't know what Meredith was thinking!!! JK, I loves ya Meredith

Look at my babies!!! I don't have a lot of pictures handy because I still haven't gone home in like two weeks, lol. I've been overstaying my welcome at Kala's house, but they haven't kicked me out yet so it's all good. All the other 900 cat pics are on an external harddrive at home, but this is what I had on my laptop...

Here's my Savannah, I call her the baby. I brought her back from Louisiana. She's got AIDS, the poor little thing, but she's not sick yet so hopefully it'll be a long time before we have to worry about that. She's so beautiful, she looks like a white tiger and she's got blue eyes.

And here's Sparky. I call him the Dingo. He's the most non-vicious dog you'll ever see. I swear to God, if someone broke into the house he'd roll over on to his back so the burgler could pet him. I think I've heard him bark maybe 4 times since I got him. I also brought him back from Louisiana.

I also have two other cats and two turtles, but I don't have pictures of them on this computer. Don't worry, I'll make sure you all see pictures of them too!!

I've got to go pick Heather up from the train station now, but as soon as I get back I'll shower all your pets with compliments, 'cause they're all beautiful!

I've had both...dogs are better companions but cats are more independant and easier to care for.

The myth about cats killing babies is very not true. When my son was a baby our smallest cat...his name was sunshine used to jump into his crib while he was sleeping and sleep on top of his feet to keep them warm. (both cats were orange tabby's..one with green eyes one with yellow eyes)

The dog (Shepherd/Rottweiler mix) also took care of both of my cats like they were his babies. When they weren't quite big enough to jump up to the high window sills my dog would come up behind them and give them a boost with his nose.

I miss my dog We had to give him away when we moved out of our house...then Sunshine died, he got outside and was attacked by a racoon. We found him and he couldnt move or eat and something was clearly wrong with him by morning when we were going to take him to the vet he was gone. The older tabby used to like to open the window and sneak out and used to come back...one day he never made it back.

So now....I have 0 pets Chris is allergic to cats and I can't have a dog according to my lease they are not allowed.

fuckin hate cats. allergic to em so thats probably why

3 years ago i ended up at the girl's shore house and we were in her room and my eyes were drippin more water then the hoover dam. I finally had to stop what we were doin czu i couldn't take it anymore.

Needless to say the following week, she left the cat at home

lol....i just seriously don't like cats! I don't see the fun in having a pet that usually hates you

I love dogs and would totally have one now if I could...when I get home I will post pics of my super fabulous dog I had until last year . She was a yellow lab and the best pet ever.

I just had to put something up in response to all these cats pics that have been up....sorry they just aren't funny to me.

Oh God!!! I'm sure its a sweet kitty and all, but the bold cats freaaaak me out... they remind me of wet rats. That deff woke me up for work, lol

Wouldnt you rather have a soft, warm, fuzzy little thing cuddling with you all the time? Personally I loooove all animals, but big dogs are just too slobbery and smelly for me. And little dogs - well why wouldnt you just get a cat instead of a like Pomeranian or Chihuahua? Plus they're like incredibly vicious.

Now the way to go is a bunny, lol, best pet ever

Nope sorry...my 70 lbs lab and I cuddled all the time. Way better then any cat. You guys just aren't gonna change my mind. I have had cats (some of the coolest cats ever) but I just would never go out and spend money to get one

and don't hate on the Chihuahua's they are some loyal dogs....my 1 sis has 1 and the other has 2

<--------- Rocky (my doggie) he likes to eat cats.....

Posted by Lenchik on Aug-10-2007 14:45:

Minor correction then

Chihuahs are just very vicious to me... I have actually been bitten and peed on... more than once.

Posted by yankeeBaby on Aug-10-2007 16:09:

mere I had (have) two cats growing up and they were the most cuddly, playful things ever. I never had one of those cats that were moody and pissy and demanding really that everyone speaks of. They were always "nuzzlers" lol. One of them dies recently and the other is going to break the world record for cat age: I have had her since I was 6 and she was grown when I got her.

I would prefer dogs in the future but I wouldnt exchange my..... errr..."relationship" that I had with my two kitties for the WORLD. ....and yes they CAN do tricks I swear!!

PS: I also hate all the cat pics. LOL

Posted by Uncle ED on Aug-10-2007 16:40:

I like to Nuzzle....

I hate cats also. They're backstabbing creatures. You cannot trust a cat and they don't give a shit about you.

Yeah some cats do that....some are playing, other are pissed because you touched them where they don't like to be touched.

I love cats. I am not a big dog fan, but lately I have been wanting one, probably b/c I want children and we can't do it just yet, so maybe a dog will take care of that urge . I had a small dog when I was young and she was the nastiest thing ever- biting and snapping at everyone except for my mother. I had 3-4 cats growing up (all gone now) and I have two cats now- Phoebe and Holden. Poor things will be on a 22 hour plane ride in a year.

Phoebe is a tortie. She has cat flu but not a bad form of it. I don't think cat flu is a problem in the US, but it is pretty common here. Holden is the black and white one. He is the biggest mush ever. I love them both and they are really sweet cats always wanting to cuddle and Phoebe loves to sit on anyone's lap.

Hoagie & Pickle, Trance Cats, Extraordinaire!

Hoagie found a nest (aka lid of flight case)

As a Kitten, Pickle found the most expensive 'box' in the house to climb into.

And he could rip sik beats on the 909

He snuggles the good records:

He's even been caught fist-pumping:

But now kitten is big; and his growing laziness keeps him here:

Hoagie, 12, is a short/small cat, but 20lbs. He's like a watermelon with legs, and the biggest cuddle slut ever. His nickname, "Hoagie Bear" cause he cuddles like a teddy bear. He's maybe a 15th wonder of the world.

Pickle, 2, (orange) is a veggie-cat; eats all veggies (fav canned green beans); only meat he's eaten is plain grilled chicken and tuna water. He talks (sorta) and supervises all bathroom visits (pushes door open and jumps on your lap)

They were both strays adopted as kittens. I couldn't ask for better pets. Some cats are just assholes though (like people). So I'd guess a lot of nature vs. nurture comes into play in cat development. LOL>
