I'm very pro-Ron Paul. Donated to his campaign, bumper sticker, etc.

It shouldn't, but alot of people vote that way. It's all about image, no issues. I bet Kerry would've performed a million times better if he looked more charismatic.

Abe Lincoln's beard.

And this would be why I think society, on the whole, is a festering pile of crap.

I say all candidates should be required to wear masks and have a common speaker who will interact for them.

Fact:

More people favored Kennedy over Nixon based on one major fact. Kennedy wore a pink shirt to the debate and Nixon wore white. On a black & white TV pink appears to be 'cleaner' and therefore Kennedy didn't look as shabby as Nixon.

Sucks but it's true.

it needs more options on a lot of things, needs more than 0 economy-related ones (not including those that're indirectly economic issues ), and needs clarification.

Thing is they have the big donors backing them. Sure both Clinton and Obama have raised millions in smaller donations, but they still have the weight behind them that Gravel and Kucinich don't. Giving them money is baisically a waste, unfortunately.

oooooo,so that's who kucinich is. the leprechaun.

btw, which candidates are pro-assault rifles and against background checks for firearms?

The same ones who go to bed every night fearing their house will be broken into, I guess.

Not really. Even the media doesn't give a shit about anybody other than Obama and Clinton. Like I said earlier, at each televised debate Gravel has been given very little talking time. Each time he's been given the chance to speak he would mention that, and the crowd would cheer in support for him yet the camera wouldn't go back to him for another 45 minutes. Hell, it took over half of the Youtube debate before I even realized that Gravel was on the stage.

It doesn't matter how much money or support any of the other candidates have. The media controls this election, and it's going to be either Obama or Clinton.

Why don't the other parties get much attention, by the way? There are parties other than the Republican party and the Democratic Party, aren't there?
