Pages (2): « 1 [2]
When I was working a while back doing some landscaping. My boss was telling me a story about when he was younger he was hedgecutting and went straight through a wasps nest! Needless to say he was rushed to hospital in a bad condition! Think about that the next time you just get one wasp sting!!....

I feel for you, Meg.
I nearly shit myself when I saw this thing fly by in Japan. Scary as all fuck.

I got stung last Friday in Rome by some giant wood wasp. Right sneaky bastard, felt something on my neck next second I'm being stung though I managed to crush it before it could get me again.
As Ian mentioned I think wasps stings are alkali. Just try to forget about it have a few drinks sit down take it easy.
my foot has finally stoped itching today.. i must have had some kind of reaction to it. bloody wasps, maybe this weekend i'll make a wasp death trap and put it by my front door.
I carry epi-pens in each of my cars as some family members are alergic to bee stings, so I have lots of experience in this area.
Since you don't see alergic, you need not worry about adrenaline shots :P
This product works for the pain;

What you should know is the active ingredient in this product is Ammonia (3.5%). So the home remedy to stop the itch is household ammonia, or use pee on it.
Benadryl is something that's also administered to keep it from itching and swelling. It's also given immediately to those alergic who have been stung.
Also by experience, Emla, Ovol, or any topical product that includes novocaine or other pain numbers (waiting for one of you guys to suggest another product in caine family)
