no relationship is platonic, one person is going to like the other person more than the other, but it doesnt mean they have to act on their feelings.

Posted by Musicjunky on Aug-14-2007 19:14:

I'm good friends with you Julia and I don't want to sleep with you. No offense but were just friends. I would say normally 1 or the other want more from the relationship but not always thew case.

EXACTLYYYYYYYYY!!!

Ryan is proof that not all guys are horny sleaze bags!!!!

I don't want to sleep with you either, lol. I just like hanging out with you.

Every guy who posted on here that they can't be friends with a girl without wanting more is a dirty horny sleaze bag. I feel sorry for you guys.

The reason for this thread is that recently some people have been asking me if I'm "seeing" one of my guy friends, simply because I hung out with him once, as friends. God, grow up people.

Wait! Are you seeing Donnie? How about Giles? hahahaha....

Just tell them you guys are booty call buddies, nothing else. Once you tell them WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR, they'll stop asking or... tell them it's none of their freakin business.

I heard a line the other night...gave me a good laugh...

This guy went up to this one girl (she seemed rather conceded) and said, "Your just like the gum I spit out an hour ago."

k...doesn't seem that funny now. But I dunno why it hit the spot. I think it was just the look on her face or the random thing he said to her.

I still think it's funny! hahahaha...

Some girls (and guys too) think that they're all that when actually they're NOT!

"Hey! You think you're big sh*t ehh? Well you're actually just alittle caca."

Posted by musiqzone on Aug-15-2007 00:48:

I had to reply to this as I seem to run into this a lot myself. I have a lot of guy friends...for the mostpart, I just find guys easier to hang out with, less drama and more laughs...but have a few close really cool girl friends...maybe it's caused by being stabbed in the back too many times...anyways...I can really see what you're saying here.
I "had" a really cool guy friend...or so I thought....turns out, he finally said to me, that he wouldn't hang out with me anymore unless I hooked up with him...I didn't want to from the getgo, I just thought he was a cool guy to hang out with, so, I never hung out with him again and def. thought he was an ass for saying what he did...then, I hear, when someone asked him about what he said he told them, "well, I hung out with her enough times, what do you expect me to say"....meanwhile all that time I thought we were just really cool friends. nope. it was all a setup. now, I am desgusted by him.
on the other hand, I have a lot of really cool guy friends who I honestly consider just that, friends. they are cool, fun, easy to talk to, etc... and I don't want to hook up with them. so hopefully not all guys are like this one friend I mentioned and actually can have a fun friendship, even without benefits! who knows! I'd like to think that's the case anyway!

Posted by gypsygirl on Aug-15-2007 02:35:

well, i'm friends with clovis only b/c i want to sleep with him but alas, he will not give in to my cunning ways

although he did accidently grab my boob saturday night. that's what happens when a drunk clovis tries to put his arm around you to hug you

love ya clovis

ill keep this short and simple. girls have a great power by saying 4 words whenever necessary that works great on guys "let's just be friends". use it and abuse it when necessary.

caution: there is a risk of 5% or less of side effects when using the quote.

HAHA, I'm sure people have been suspicious about it!

But just to make it clear, I don't think the guy likes me as more than friends... i just think OTHER people assume we're fucking, simply because they see that we talk or hang out.

I should include this on that petpeeve thread: people who assume two people are fucking, if they are friends of the opposite sex.

This reminds me of something that happened to me a few weeks ago at some bar. This really drunk sleaze bag came up to me and tried to dance with me and said something like "Come dance with me". The way he approached me was such a turn off and annoying, so I just said "no thanks", turned around, and kept talking to my gf.

When he realized I just gave him the cold shoulder, he said something like "What, you think I actually wanted to talk to you?", or some shit like that. How pathetic can one be???? LOL

Perhaps if he wasn't a drunken sleaze bag, I would have been nicer to him.

Anyway, off topic.

Just wanted to make it clear that if you see me hanging out with a guy, please DO NOT assume I'm fucking him. If you see me making out with him, then you have a reason to think so.

Total win for the girl, and not really anything beneficial to gain for the guy. And it's a total win win situation for the girl if she's going out with a guy who's a total asshole but good in bed, and is best friend's with another guy whom she trusts, and gives her the impression that he actually listens and understands her, even if he truly doesn't. Impressions are what matters anyways.

And any straight guy who's too close to a girl just wants to do her up teh pooper. TROOF.

See how incredibly simple us guys are? All you girls gotta do is just imagine yourself with a pen0r, and wanting to thrust it in as many bodily orifices as possible. Then you will know the ways of Man.

So fucken true. I couldn't agree with you more. I have MANY girlfriends who talk to me and tell me all their drama with their asshole boyfriends. But at the end, we're just friends WITH NO BENEFITS. They just trust me a lot, and they know I'm a shoulder they can lean on.

hahahaha...... Did I already mention this thread was too funny? Maybe it was another one. Oh well it's ok, I like cracking up at different ppl's posts! hahahaha... quite a few funny threads this week!

What if it's a girl and another girl that are always seen hanging out with each other? Do you guys ever wonder?

Posted by LionsLair on Aug-15-2007 05:14:

i dont make many long term friendships with women unless im attracted to them and wanna pull hair slap tits spit on slit, say that fast 3 times . so most guys probably would look at a guy and a girl who are friends and assume they are fucking because the avg guy makes friends with girls they want to fuck, the only exceptions would probably workplace and school you scratch my back i scratch yours friendships to get tasks done, yet still with the hope that teamwork will lead to sex.

If so, I mean come on, seriously. How pathetic can people be for assuming that?

wana hook up? hehehe

but seriously, to answer the question, i actually dont think people assume that if two people regularly just hang out or talk, etc...more often than not, when the two friends are more touchy or more sweet or just do something that indicates something more than friendship...then its only then that people will assume they are hooking up...

cheers!
