I hate the NHL, and I play... so their really is no excuse not to join!

Disloyality - it is a specific cause with Ryan Smyth.... Okay, but he is still great player. Most of players like him dare to play in the BEST LEAGUE ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! BEST LEAGUE OF ALL SPORTS! NHL is my life, it is league of great speed and action and I love it!!!

honestly, I think I'd rank MLS ahead of the NHL... but I don't know.... all I know is the NHL is the WORST league in North America... the only hope is Sidney Crosby, but I don't think even he can save the sinking NHL... I hope he can't... One of my wishes is that the NHL folds... I'd be so happy...

WTF is MLB? One slow BORING league without tastefull games! Where is physical play, where is speed, where is combination? MLB is only about senseless run and throwing balls. BORING! NHL is best league overall!

yeah well, baseball was America's game/past-time, before the NFL exploded and is now America's favorite sport.... you can't even consider the NHL in with the other 3 major leagues: NFL, MLB and NBA.... because the NHL is a joke... no one cares about the NHL anymore, just look at the stanley cup playoffs ratings...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the game of hockey, I just hate the NHL with a passion, Gary Bettman is a FUCKING idiot, and I blame the players(NHLPA) too... they all suck as far as I'm concerned, so easily the worst leage in the states... by far...

I agree, that bettman is stupid burned idiot! WTF was lockout?! I hate lockout! Look, NBA is quite dynamic team game, NFL is pretty hard and physicall, but I really do not understand MLB and its philosophy! You are an American, but at Canada is hockey religion. And at some european lands along with soccer too! I love dynamic game, moving puck around, great passes and great goals and also hot chilly bodychecks! That all is only at NHL, other leagues, also other hockey leagues are not so good!

I love Gary Bettman, seriously I do...NHLPA has its own issues that they should resolve and the NHL is headed in a good direction. Granted I'm biased but it's the truth.

wow, i'm surprised... he is by far the worst commissioner currently of any sport... guy is a meathead... as much as I think NHL players are little whiny bitches, I DO think they should be paid well, cause hockey is a tough friggen game to play and live through... and also because NBA players make so much for just running up and down a court, hockey players get physically abused like NFL players, and they both get paid less than NBA guys...

dunno, in the end, Bettman has ruined the NHL... and he's the only one to blame... and the Boston Bruins ownership, they drove me away from the NHL SO FAST by their "trading the team Captain" policy they adopted about 10 years ago... ok i'm done ranting...

Look, where is salary cap now! It is like season before lockout alike. It was not clever - destroy one full season and wait 2 - 3 season for return to "old bad times", there is a financial jungle again! Well, Jagr dare his money, Lidstrom too, and also Pronger, but what about Richars?! And Gomez get also big, big money. And what about Harnell?! SENSELESS!!! He played ONLY ONE good season and he will get 4,2 M! Sucks! Bettman is stupid man. Results are close to point zero, money are flying at abnormal financial spiral again, his lockout was senseless. Lockout generally is senseless!

Pittsburgh??? wtf, 2-3 years ago, before Crosby and Malkin... the Pens were as good as GONE from Pitt... the moving trucks were signed for.... only reason they have fans now is because of Crosby... only reason, if he wasn't there, they'd be in god knows where.... As for players being paid, yeah they should be paid but their salaries should be tired to revenues. I'm sad that we're back to a point where people are making ridiculous money but I know the NHL is trying to fit itself. It won't happen overnight...

Yes, that trap is an effective weapon, but its look nasty....
