Arrow

Dido & Sarah McLachlan.

Not specifically trance vocalist but surely have voices and singing talent that can be used to hypnotoc/haunting/mesmerizing effect in any trance track.

Jessica Sutta beats all, too bad she can't be considered a trance vocalist yet.

anyone ever notice that Ashely Tomberlin always takes photos of just her face at odd angles???

BECAUSE SHE IS TOOOOO FAT FOR COMFORT!!

As far as most talented, the easy choice for me is Justine Suissa. She's just got the warmest, lovliest voice in trance. I miss it. AND, she can actually sing live.

As far as the prettiest, I'd go with "Truth", who has worked on tracks with George Acosta:

some of u guys are real harsh, dont see nothin wrong with 99% of them... check out house music tho... far more good looking, talented singers there...

ill throw out Gia Mellish for starters.

Arrow Live Singing

I have had some real horrible experiences with "live" singing.

Some traumatic experiences include:

1. Tina Arena/Tina Novak of "The ROC Project". "Never" was a decent work but hearing it live (By Tina "Arena" and then Tina "Novak") was like going through labour pains that i can only imagine.

Anyways, 3-Cheers for the local girl (Tina Arena is from my hometown Tampa).

2. Erika of "Plummet". I was rather fond of both "Damaged" and "Cherish The Day" and DJ X is quite a talent. To hear Erika (or is it Erica) dish out "Cherish the day" and "Damaged" live with DJ X was a torture and left me wondering if that's the voice that i was humming for quite sometime.

Thankfully, it turned out that original singer from Plummet was Cheramy Burgess (If i am to discount that "Cherish the day" was sung by Sade, a beautiful vocalist by all accounts, back in 90s).

3. Edmee of DHT - She came to promote DHT - Listen to your heart and hearing her sing, i was only reminded of what we have lost with the demise of era of the likes of Roxette who sang the original back in 80s.

Few more but i can't remember their names.

It seems both Tina Arena and Tina Novak were involved with "The ROC Project" and there is some mess vis-a-vis Tina Arena/Tina Novak - pardon my slippage.

They have both performed in Tampa (atleast one event claimed "Roc Project feat. Tina Arena" and another claimed "Roc Project feat. Tina Novak" and i remember the RJ screaming his lungs out to "... Our very own Tina ...." ).

If Tina Arena is Australian, then Tina Novak is Floridan.

P.S: I just did a google and find reviews that are full of praise for Tina Arena's voice/vocal rendition. Now, i am begining to suspect that probably "Tina Arena" never performed here, it was always Tina Novak.

Thumbs up

Jennifer Rene!

Nadia Ali, definitely.

Posted by DJ Indus Creed on Aug-20-2007 18:27:

Arrow A kinda sad look in her eyes - i like that actually

"Nadia Ali was born in the Mediterranean and grew up in Queens, New York City. In her teens, Nadia listened to a huge variety of music - anything from Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin house and from Motown to alternative rock. However, Nadia considers classic rock and Indian music to be her biggest genre influences."

Something in her style of singing always reminded me of my home-country but never really knew what.
