The Sasha Essential he did...BBC tracklist confirmed:

C.O.M.A Monday & Kevlar - The Mongoose

"Monday" is identical to track 7 of the Bonnaro set and "The Mongoose" is identical to track 23 of the Bonnaro set.

That's how those ID's were confirmed.

Sasha said in an interview with Pete Tong, he'd release new material by the end of the summer.

Kevlar - The Mongoose is due on RebelOne in October which is a sub label of Crosstown Rebels that is run by Damian Lazarus.

I never, ever trust BBCs tracklists.

I know...but they seem to be close to spot on with the other ID's...so I guess it's safe to say...plus I think a few others confirmed...but I guess a little bit of time will tell for sure.

wow that logo is shitty

looks like sasha scanned in something he wrote on a napkin and then livetraced it in illustrator and then applied a few line style presets and the "add arrowheads" filter

maybe that was insect's "art direction".

I do care about artwork since one reason I buy the vinyl is for collection purposes. Not just to have it in a discogs list for nerds to look at, but because I like good design as well as good music. With a digital release as well it's important to have good 12" artwork to encourage the collection aspect and thus more sales of a more expensive product.

The logo is highly irrelevant when it comes to dance music, for some reason. Most labels have terrible and non-communicative logos. Even if they look good they rarely tell you anything about the sound.

Kompakt is one of my favorite labels in terms of art direction.
Wagon Repair is also a favorite

When I first heard Bonneroo I could have sworn that Mongoose was actually a Sasha production. Some of the string synths sound kind of like wavy gravy.

I like Border Community art the most. Despite its pretentiousness.

lol, so true.

it'll be interesting to see some of the actual designs with the logo incorporated. maybe it'll look better once it's part of an actual design instead of just a logo against a white background. granted, the artwork doesn't really effect how good the actual music is, but it's nice to have beautiful artwork to go along with beautiful music.

lol, Tigo got to hang out with that guy once, he has all kinds of great stories

Supposedly the artwork for the label is going to be done by "Banksy collaborators".

Maybe it'll get better than what their logo currently is.
