the fact there is a $5000 top prize halloween costume contest makes me think that a bunch of professional costume wearers, if you will, will be coming to this.... and taking up valuable space that could be inhabited by EDM fans..... just have the judging at like 1am so those bastards can get out of there before sasha comes on
maybe the guv will learn from previous years and not have a costume contest..... because IMO, have a high stakes costume contest and sasha in the same night is obviously a recipe for disaster
last year was a disaster.. + fire bells goin off n such.. worst time i ever had at guvy.

I haven't heard Sasha in YEARS, I mean the last time i heard him was at the guv., with John Digweed, that was in 1999?. And the place was RAMMED, I couldn't move an inch, it was ridiculous! For hallowe'en it will be no different. By the way, i haven't heard anything from Sasha in a while, what does he spin now?? Cuz i really don't think that he's as good as he was back in the late 1990's early 2000's.

last time i saw sasha was with digweed in chicago 2002.... it's been too long.
one of the few djs i truly respect.
100% there!
I am yet to see Sasha live..Have been waiting two years for this...I don't care how packed it will be in there, space to dance can be made, just have to put these elbows and hips to good use!!
Yeah, there was some pretty intense costumes last year, some really big ones to that just take up to much space. Maybe if this was on another day, or not the day after adam beyer, i would definatly go, but right now it's iffy at best
wonder what kind of line up the docks will counter with for their destiny 666 halloween party.

Not what he used to spin, I mean his stuff in the late 90's was incredible, maybe he is getting back to his roots, i dunno, but I'll always remember Sasha for his work back then. Deltawye |

I do agree with you though that Sasha's prime was mid-to-late 90's, and he had a few sick sets here and there in 2003-04. He really lost me around the Fundacion days and hasn't gotten my interest since then. 2007 is sounding really good for him though. Check out that EM. And the Bonnaroo set that he did with Digweed. |

Just got back from SouthWestFour in London - Clapham Commons where Sasha played in front of 25,000 people blasted the crowd away!
He's in tip top shape....Its well over due since his last stop in Toronto! Perfection for Halloween.
New Yorker coming up for this - going to get my double dose of sasha, first down here in NYC on the 12th, then for some t.dot action on the 27th. This will be the ultimate birthday MONTH that I've been waiting for.
Anyone know where I can purchase tix for this? Air/Hotel almost booked!

Marco Carola will also be at The Guvernment, not sure in which room though.
It was so packed inside guv last time, that the line didn't move for the entire hour we stood in it. The line outside was 6 people wide, and around the corner almost, not moving. I remember that Lisa called us from inside and said it was so fackin rammed, so much so that she couldn't take it anymore, came outside, and we all booked it and left.
