People who are saying predictive text sucks either have no idea how to use it or are just stupid. Anyway I use it all the time, but i'll probably be getting a blackberry curve soon, so I won't have a need for it anymore.

Not at all, we're just not lazy when it comes to texting. All my phones have had them, I just turned it off.

predictive text isnt for the lazy. its for the smart. once you use it enough it becomes good enough that you can type faster than someone who types each letter.

They do have predictive text for word processors just not on Microsoft Word... Try using Open Office 2.2

your actually mistaken. they do have predictive text in word. albeit a very short list of words compared to OO.O, but they do have it.

i broke my old phone and had to buy a ghetto-ass used nokia for the time being (myself being broke as well). it's by far the most cumbersome piece of txting equipment i've ever had to deal with. you have to go to a separate menu and scroll all the way down to pick out a symbol or punctuation mark. it takes five minutes to type out something like this- "what..?"

I think it helps that my phone has been storing the common words that I type for months now...so I don't have to wait for the T9 feature to catch up to me. My phone rules!
