I like girls who have some "cushion" to them. Just not so much that they become barrel-shaped / amorphous / unhealthy.

LOL...amorphous

+1

Too many girls look like skeletons - it's really not attractive.

I hate the term "big Boned" Sorry your fat and you need to get a gym membership and stop eating mcDonalds everyday.

Plus One.

Big Boned is a sorry excuse... yes your arse and belly bones are a hell of a size aren't they.

"Retaining water" is another one. Fuck sake, your retaining chips.

I was on the 'peanut butter sandwich' diet myself once. I gained 3 stone

If your fat because of a medical condition, fair enough, but otherwise, stop being a lazy shite.

old BMI calcs are outdated as fuck. it's funny, because if you input a large athlete's stats, like say, Brock Lesnar (6'2", 270lb), you get he is in mortal danger due to his being so overweight.

...right.

i'm 6'1" and around 230, it says i can expect a heart attack any day now. i knew i had a bit of gut, but damn

With a bad BMI you COULD probably be in danger IF you do not have good cardiovascular strength. My BMI is right over the threshold of 'dangerous' @ 6'2 / 220 lbs. About 2 years back I was 6'1 and 180 lbs. and then I just thickened out towards 20. But I'm very content with my size right now and the only thing I really want to do is lose the fat and keep the weight I got.

Most of them will get fat by the time they hit 35, if their eating habits don't change and they don't work out much.

Youthful metabolism doesn't last forever.

I don't drink anything but water normally, so I make up the calories that would have been filled by soft drinks / juice / etc. by eating more food than a lot of people. I also work out regularly.

Work out more. If your body knows whats good for it, it will start taking up more food and not waste it.

Plus more testosterone.

That's true, both of my parent's were thin when they were younger (my mom only weighed 105 pounds after having 3 kids) and when she started getting older the pounds started to add on. Now she's dieting with me

I'm fat. I don't mind admitting it. Health problems have meant i've been unable to do what I used to, but im working on sorting them all out, getting out of bad habits etc. I eat reasonably healthy with a few exceptions. I'm allergic to some foods so i tend to eat a few things like bread more to fill me up. Even as big as I am now, I can still move fairly well considering. Better than people who're half my size in a lot of cases.

Like Tricia though, when i was at my fittest, i was still fairly well built, not fat but not thing. I cycled upto 20 miles a day, would play football for hours and swim, play cricket etc. my body was so used to it that when i had to stop it took a big toll on me, but i'll be back there again one day.

i train at least 4 hours a week of martial arts. this includes the warmups, which can be pretty intense, drills and sparring. while i'm not in the shape i want to be, trust me, i am far from being in danger.

i wouldn't rather be either of those..they're both extremes...and anything in extreme won't do me any good...i'd rather stay the way i am now thanks

ummm...nooo..25 pounds overweight is not healthy..it might not look as bad but its still UNhealthy...that's still a lot of extra weight on ur body and if ur build happens to be such where a lot of those extra punds stick to the stomach area that puts you at a much greater risk of cardiovascular disease
and remember this every 30pounds that a man looses he gains back an extra inch of his penis (research proof)...that's a great motivation for men to loose weight i'd say
