You are too nice...I don't ask you to reply to my last post and I understand that you are upset... fortunately you are pretty nice... thanks for all i will try your last method directely....
P.S - Your project will not look like the one in the photo.. Ignore that.. I was only using the screenshot to show you where meteronome button is. The screenshot is for music producing not DJing.
Yes yes I understand.... i just make one like you told me and it is really better.... just the time to localise the good downbeat... the djing is moving so quikly now... again thanks
Here is the process I use that works every time for me.
1. Select and analyze the track.
2. Hit the warp button.
3. Zoom in and line up the yellow/green warp marker with 1st beat.
4. Zoom in at the end of the track and make sure those markers are lined up, but don't make anymore yellow warp markers.
Then you're done. Takes about as long as your computer does to analyze the file.
Oh and make sure you set the global quantize to at least 1/4 bar. That way the songs will automatically be lined up on quarter notes.
Shhh.. Let him learn what he has already

Well I'm kinda of afraid to post this now after harshing on the original poster, but, now that I've also learned to warp songs (thanks to whoever), my silly noob question is: When I start the master loop the songs start at the same time and so are beatmatched. But of course you don't want two songs to start at the same time when djing... so when I try to start the next song the beats are generally off time. Should ableton be syncing the beats as well when I start the second track? Or do I just hafta be listening to the current track and press play on the second track at the correct moment?
did you read the manul?
Manual
.. Ableton should be syncing the songs automatically. If the beats don't match after warping.. You didn't warp it properly. Use the metronome to check both tracks are on beat.
No matter when you press play on the 2nd song, It should always sync.. And if it cant - Ableton will wait for the next beat before it will allow the 'CUED' track to play.
Check your warping.. And dont forget to hit 'SAVE'

thanks dude, I've got things mostly figured out now.
I just read this thread and cannot believe it. I thought I used to be a complete Ableton idiot. I can't believe your patience in dealing with at.
Dancetrack digital has warped songs he can practice on.
There are tons of tutorials, even entire websites dedicated to this.
I went from not even knowing what a mix or kick was was to being able to use ableton without major problems
That guy has to be faking this, no way can a profesional dj be that stupid
haha I'm not sure i believe the whole 'I'm a pro dj at a well known club in Toronto' stuff but yeah.. Be a computer technician for a few months and you learn to be very patient with people. Without it you would be ripping off a lot of peoples heads.. daily..
I'm no pro DJ, I don't play at clubs.. But i also don't say i do. The stuff i just said about Ableton is stuff i only learned myself (through google). I want to learn about FX etc next
i learned pretty much everything i know from www.abletonlivedj.com , great site just to read past threads
