Why do you need an iPod? I can recommend the iRiver E10. 6GB storage, 32 hour battery life, and IT WORKS AS A FUCKING UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL.

My watch used to do the same. Then its band broke. Man we had some fun times in class with that. Damn near made a substitute teacher break down and cry in my Japanese class.

I always wanted to go into a sports bar on the night of a big game (of anything, really) and change the channel just as all the interesting shit was going down.

Of course, if anyone caught me....

wow
as for mp3 players that looks like by far the best one i've seen
especially since 6gb is plenty, and after that mostly alls i care about is price and battery life
shit
i might just have to buy that

Haha, that's why the watch was perfect. The lady told us all to clear our desks and put our hands on them. Just had to position my wrist at the correct angle.

I have zero complaints about it, and I've had it for about a year. Nice and light too, and a colour screen You could watch tiny little movies on it

I have never missed high school as much as I do right now. Assuming, of course, that I had a kick-ass channel changing device at the time.

Which I didn't

What a waste of 5 years

I have a PSP.

I rarely ever use it :/

But I got it second hand for a good price!

Yeah

Posted by Lilith on Sep-01-2007 08:40:

Cheapest I can find your iRiver is $229.00AUD, might have to harass and bother some poor shop assist for something cheaper. It would be handy though because I always forget to buy those dumb AAA batteries for the TV remote
Can you stick just raw data on them as well for storage Sushi? Like .doc, pdf and excel files, not to open in it but just stick them there?

Yes, works just fine as a portable hard drive.

yeah good luck finding anything good or compatible to say about that player.

it is interesting, but its a asia only player and doesnt even support playlists.

get a calculator watch if you wanna change channels nerd!|

Posted by Lilith on Sep-01-2007 08:44:

ooooh.
Damn I'm going to have to think about that rather than lugging around about a half dozen little USB drivers. Actually I really need an offline hard drive as well for backups but I don't know any good ones.

try and find the creative zen photo sleek.

it wont play videos, buts its much cheaper than most drives and 20GB...it is non-DRM and can be used as a drive.

asian tech is interesting, but unless you want to devote your life, mine is excellent|

(plus you can save video, you can set 16gb to data if you want)

What? I don't live in Asia. And they would hardly sell it in the US if it didn't work

LMAO, the E10 is non-drm. I have to use iRiver's software to put the tunes onto the player, but it'll take (and play) anything I have

Posted by Lilith on Sep-01-2007 09:00:

Doesn't matter what I get, the remote would be handy though, if it stores data, I'll write it off on tax next year as a work tool hehe

i don't give a shit about drm and from everything i hear, you have to go like one more button into the menus, but you can just drag and drop music like it was an external hard drive as well as using their shitty bundled software
which is the way i'm gonna be doing it

20-6?

yeh, you do live in asia... buy what you need. random remotes? ok!

for size and price the creative has higher sound to noise ratio and an EQ. the software is better than it was ever.

iriver was my initial favorite, but you need to deal with korean firmware before the several hundred dollar product becomes useful! cheers!|

I thought you had an ipod? That serves that purpose. Just put it into HDD mode when you plug it in.

Posted by Lilith on Sep-01-2007 09:42:

Never really found a need for an ipod, if I was at work I'm too busy there to be listening and running around, the cars already got MP3 players in them which I just compile mixes, throw on CD's (and sometimes on TA ) and at home, well stereo's and computers for music there.
Don't really have anywhere I'd use one as I don't travel much anymore
