LOL.....stop "reaching for the lasers" during Armin & trance, that might be a big factor in the not picking up hot women!

Anyways, review:

Ceballos was pretty good, mixing wise, track selection was good, but over did it, all sounded the same (loved the 3rd last track he played, the one that sounded like an accordion lol ) he was def. a good warm up, got everyone in the mood

Sanchez's intro was absolutely nuts everyone seemed to have life when that intro came on, but the first half of his set was too diva house for me, and expected from him really, but finished pretty strong, peek of the party, the only time it was completely full, and the women out in full force

Rank 1 opened up with Roadkill, thought he would play at least one more house track right after or something progressive but jumped right into the trance....

and that ladies and gentlemen, killed the party. the vibe went from everyone rocking out of their boots to talking and having a shoulder workout with all the 30 second breakdowns

I must say Rank 1 was the best out of the trance dj's so good for him, but wow he really needs to learn how to mix flawlessly, although hes getting better....like when he played Deadmau5 - Faxing Berlin...then he fucking did a gay mash-up...wtv

Armin....honestly trance is trance, but Armin really made me hate it...his set had NO FLOW whatsoever, he started out so soft at 6.30 am - 7am like wtf?.....the guy doesn't play any hidden gems anymore, just new songs from his last 4 ASOTS...and gay old songs that he likes....guy was waaaaaay to epic, and cranked the music too much, I really hope he doesn't come back for a long long time...

Halliwell was just to intense at that time in the morning, for a trance dj he's got some skills behind the tables....but his hard tech trance at 9.30-10 am....no way

I found that it wasn't has packed as other massives there, hopefully promoters understand that House music keeps a party going and bring a solid lineup of that genere

I agree with DJ Eternal and robbieJ , more house and less trance , not that trance is bad. I like some trance but i just can't get into it with the extended breakdowns , painful buildups and slamming climaxs over and over.

For me it's not the songs they play , it's the mood the crowd get's into from the music. House simply brings out that vibe that makes the night spectacular.

My group and I arrived early at 11:30 and it was pretty empty which i thought was disappointed considering Ceballos was playing.

And VIP is a waste of money at the Bell Centre , only at BEB is it worthwhile...

He isn't everyone's preference but my god he was incredible , listening to his set for 2 hours made my night right there.

Continuous beat? yeah ok.... alot of tribal prog sounds? sure.... if you don't like it then don't listen to it but OMG for those who actually appreciate the hard basslines was the highlight of the night. You only need to watch the girls dance to it to see why.... and I heard sounds effects added to it like panther growls that I thought were sick!

Sanchez was off , and this is the opinion of many i talked to who listened to his set. It wasn't bad and definately parts of it that were fantastic but definately didn't sound quite 100%.

And as much as I'm not a trace fan , Rank 1 was pretty good , AVB was ok but again didn't really do it for me ( personally I think he is over-rated ) and Eddie was perfect to close the event because he definately performed like he wanted to send everyone home LOL!

mizza318: If your goal is to pickup a hot girl at these events , it's not so much about muscles and money ( but obviously that helps ). The secret is attitude and image , and being a hater to all the guys who look better then you and who tag the women you stare at all night is not the right approach. Just my $0.02 ;-)

This was the first event where i actually stayed for the trance part of the event and I have to say the only people who were really loving the trance were the ones in the mosh pit cracked out of their minds... so before we bash the house crowd let's set the record straight: the best looking people where the house crowd....period!

anyone have any idea what mixer they were using in the booth? by the way, i think im going against consensus on this one but to be honest the setup was pretty cool. you can have a pretty decent view of the booth from pretty much any angle in the arena especially for average height individuals like myself. i've been told this type of setup will never work at resolution. i guess theres only one way to find out lol.

haha man I don't hate...
I love the juicers...because of them I got to the gym and work on my fitness ...but I am not dumb enough to do what they do just to look cool at massive parties... i keep it au naturele...will see how they feel when 40 rolls around and their shit will start saggin n those tatoos will look like crap...and man its not like i walk around and drool around these girls i am not that desperate...but it just seems you hardly ever see one of these girls with a regular looking guy so there must be something to it...

and I am not talkin about general hot girls...I am pin pointing the silicone ones....

and i know its about image and attitude, but yo i am not a reject look a like, i dress nice and i am not fugly i've been told and when these parties come i got cash to blow, but i am also not gonna change, i love to to do the hands in the air stuff to trance, fack having fun for me is my 1st priority, bitches come second, unless they are super hot and are down with the hands in the air shit, then the priorities might change

yo trance for life i am out

Same here.

Really glad I went to Nick Warren at Stereo instead, that party totally kicked ass compared to the shit I've heard/read about Sensation.

Ibiza had a wayyyy better vibe than this past weekend...I meant compared any other Sundays other than Ibiza weekend. Hearing tribal house on that system kicks ass. The sound on Ibiza night wasn't very good.

I love this song. I think I dropped a tear on it. From that point he did an awesome set. It wasn't the best I heard from him, mostly cause I'm currently not satisfied with the recent trance releases. But Armin always sets the dancefloor on fire and that night was no exception. My tune of the night, Stoveface & Terminal - Super Nature... boy I was in heaven ! He also play Rapideye Circa Forever, Solarstone - rollercoaster and finish with The Sound of Goodbye. I had memories of Aria during those tracks.
9/10 Why not a 10 ? I guess I was expecting way too much from him.

ummm holy crap sounds like he literally played the exact same set in toronto. literally.
