hey guys, first of all thank you for comin out and supporting another SSU/Core Event. its always great to see everyone having a good time smiling
all the DJs were on point, thanx to the boston boys -mark, andy & patrick. it was my 2nd time hear you guys and your sounds fit the room perfectly. and needless to say Luzz was on fire as well, i was really diggin your set on fri. much better than the daft punk night i thought, thanx for playing awesome music everyone.
cant forget my main man Taso for providing sick sick visuals for us, thank you. i think its safe to say that we will be seeing more of it in the future
i think i have a gig comin up in 2 weeks, i'll let yall know soon ~~
oh and im glad everyone liked my hair cut..lol

Yes guys it was definitely a great party, I look forward to more parties in the upstairs portion of rebel. I think Patrick played the song of the night, Jon Silva "Love In Me"

SILIVER
OMG I HAD A WAY BETTER TIME @ REBELL LIKE STAR SOPRANO SAID AND SHE RIGHT I DONT KNOW HOW WE JUST WALKED INTO REBELL AT LIKE 2AM THE UP STAIRS ROOM CAUSE SOME GOTH PATY ON THE MAIN FLOOR BUT IT WAS GREAT PEOPLE , GOOD MUSIC AND CHRIS LUZZ OMG YOU PLAYED A GOOD SET WITH MIXING IT UP A BIT
Pacha blew, Rebel kicked ass.

Rebel is a great venue, never been to those two rooms and the sets I heard before leaving at 2:15ish were great. I feel like an ass for leaving for Gabriel & Dresden, sorry. I guess I learned a lesson.

A big thanks to sunnyside up for booking me. I had a blast
I hope to do it all again soon!
It'll always be the same ol' story of the magnetic charge that the Pacha's, etc., have... Party after party of letdowns, and people will still always give them another chance (DJs and venue).... Noble, I guess, but I was happy to have been at Rebel that night to hear some great beats, and keep it real with people I know... Once again, support your locals!!! Amen to Steven's first post... Put your trust in the bookings that locals (and especially, TAs) put their neck out on the line for, because you'll more often than not realize why they made that booking once you hear the music...
Rock on, Mazi and all the locals rocked, and my cousin and her friends really had a great time despite the sparse crowd, keep up the good work guys!
It's common sense,,this thing is about music but the people aint listening..I never heard of Mazi until Zack confirmed the guy as the headliner but the guy is a legend..I went on line and downloaded everything that the guy has ever done and it's all good..It's beyond me how anyone could chose G&D over Mazi and chose Pacha over Rebel..It's a fucking no brainer..I hate to say it but,, "REBEL is better than ARC"..The sound and the place are far superior..I loved ARC but the sound was awful..Anyway..
SSU are not in the position yet to book the "big names" and to be honest I'd rather not..There's far too much talent in this city that needs the exposure and the opportunity to perform in front of you guys..No one books better Dj's than us,,you've only got to take the time to listen to their mixes,,radio shows and productions to hear that...
If the people don't start to support the locals,, all you're gonna be left with is Pacha..

What a horrible thing to say!!! That's just filthy! I <3 the locals, the only reason I went to Pacha was to see Jason and I wish we had left sooner. Pacha is awful, it makes me feel so hostile, I just don't have a good time there. So when's the next local party? I'm so there!! PS, Steven, did you start making my SSU poster yet

A pleasure meeting you as well. Looking forward to seeing you again
Friday night was a lot of fun, despite upstairs not being very full. I didn't get to hear everyone in the liquid lounge, but I did catch part of Chris' and Marks sets and I was impressed. Good seeing everyone out, as always. Thanks again to the SSU crew for holding down the side room...and like everyone mentioned, awesome visuals Tasso!
Friday was a blast, I had so much fun playing and haning out with eveyone.
Steven and Shiela, i have said it before and ill say it again you guys are the best! thanks for the opportunity to play in NYC and i hope that we can do it agin sometime soon!
I thought that everyone played awsome and held it down in the lounge.
I tried to shuffle back and forth between rooms as much as i could, and from what i saw Zack and Keryn were layin down some nasty stuff. Mazi was just as i thought he was gonna be - dope! the guy is seriously nasty.
Hope to see all of you again in the near future!
Mark
