Sure, if you really don't know what you're doing, it's probably a bad idea to use EQ when mastering. Maybe I shouldn't be trying certain things, but I only make very subtle changes. It doesn't seem to sound bad.

Yeah, I guess that would make all the tutorials on the TA stickies invalid, if it was "wrong" to use EQ when mastering.
