Avery works (and yaps) his arse off every night. He's definitely more than motivated to play game in and game out.

2004-05 Pelicans FNL 2 3+0=3

Gill came to Finland the same day if i remember correctly, and both were supposed to play the whole season. Avery left after three games, went back to The US and made some devastating whining about how sucky our, my league is. I know hes good at what he does, but i cant forgive him for that, ever.

HIFK 97-98

Kimmo Timonen
Brian Rafalski
Christian Ruuttu
Olli Jokinen
Jarno Kultanen
Niklas Hagman
Jarkko Ruutu

Goalies:

Tim Thomas, Nicklas Backstrom

Edit: And back on topic, go Pens!

Wow. That's stacked even for NHL standards

Just watched the Stars - Hawks game and Richards was on Fire!! And Nick scoring his first hat-trick, Morrows fight in the end. This is was probably one of the best games i've seen all season.

Latendresse is on the 4th line with the rest of the French Canadians on the Habs' roster He's ok, but sometimes very lazy with his skating.

I respect Koivu very much, but I personally think he's over rated and always has been. He has never been that franchise player that everybody wanted him to be. That said, he does have a presence in the locker room and is a good captain.

I've always respected Koivu more for his leadership rather than his technical abilities, but gotta admit, he's got quite an eye for the game.

Jack Johnson's hit on Ryan Smyth.

The hit was pretty bad....but I think this was a little cleaner than some of the other sensationalized hits this season. If hes not bumped at that particular spot of the rink, it's a non issue.

yeeeesssssssssss we are #1 in the East.

but unfortunately we are going on a long trip to the west coast now with games at San Jose or Anaheim.

That was a perfectly clean hit. Oh well, sucks to be Ryan Smyth

you never spare an occasion to spew your hatred toward the french canadiens.

Anyways, Latendresse is a big guy, not supposed to be the speedy gonzalez, and imo he's essentially at the right place, just a 4th line dude, 3rd if he shakes up.

I'm enjoying the Capitals thrasing the Bruins 9-2 right now..only because it'll help the Rangers in the fight for a playoff spot

dude...what the hell are you talking about? Why would I even be a Montreal fan if I hated French Canadians?

I was just commenting on the fact that the Habs' French players are all on the 4th line (Lapierre, Latendresse, Begin, etc), while it's a European dominated offense the last few seasons. In fact, Europeans (and a few key Americans) dominate the Habs' roster...but whatever, they're a good team and nobody should care (sometimes the Montreal press bitches about this though)

I'd like to see a guy like Lecavalier come to Montreal where he'd be a God. But none of the premiere French players seem to want to play in Montreal anymore for whatever reason (money, pressure...case in point, Daniel Briere).

So anyway Malek you took it the wrong way. I've always felt that Montreal is Canada's team and it's too bad there isn't a French Canadian hero on the roster these days (like Carbo, Damphousse, etc) but if we keep winning, who cares right?

by the way, Price had a shit game tonight (some great saves, 3 really bad goals). Should he have been pulled? The D was looking pretty average too (Komisarek and OByrne looked like beer leaguers by Campbell and Cheecho...yikes!) At least Ottawa is still shitting the bed though. I really want us to win the division this year and get a top 3 seed.

but at least it was a great game and fun to watch. play-off-atmosphere all the time.

and it's not a shame to loose @ San Jose (or Anahaeim in a few days).

after all the game was worth it to stand up at 4.30 am

Posted by malek on Mar-04-2008 15:14:

both teams were very equal yesterday, both were very nervous though, maybe a bit more on the Montreal side with errors that cost big.

The good is that they didn't give up and came back 3 times to tie.

The bad, nerveousness will cost big in the playoffs.

Posted by verndogs on Mar-07-2008 04:23:

Rangers 8-0-3 in the their last 11 games

Posted by xxonemanriotxx on Mar-08-2008 05:37:

Well... I'm a Atlanta Thrashers fan. But unfortunately they have had a bad year... With that being said, I will now be cheering for the Caps to win the Stanly Cup. Sorry, I'd rather see them win over the Canes... I will still watch all the rest of the Thrashers, so don't think I've totally forgot about them.

Sidney Crosby Hes so over-rated

GO KOVY!!! GET 50 Pts. BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON!!!

Posted by partyhopper on Mar-10-2008 23:09:
