never knew they took these things so seriously, fark its a shitty mtv award

Posted by Sushipunk on Sep-12-2007 08:59:

Oh, come on. It's just the VMAs. Lets worry about it more when Kanye West loses something more serious and important. Like a Grammy!

I was listening to the Shade 45 radio station when they had 50 cent on recently and they had the most ignorant motherfukerz calling in. They asked callers about their "thoughts" on Kanye West. The responses killed me.

"Yo , that nigga probably knitting up anotha tight ass sweater fo' his ass"

"What kind of grown ass nigga walk around with a teddy bear hanging out his motherfukkin' bag"

on a side note 50 cent made a public announcement that would probably please most of you.

"IF KANYE WEST OUTSELLS ME, I WON'T MAKE ANOTHER ALBUM AGAIN"

yeah... i'm sure the callers were a bunch of uneducated fuks.

Cuz it is sooooo cool to wear baggy ass pants and show off your boxers and wear triple extra large that goes down to your knees.

I love Pharells style... and Kanye rocks the 'salmon' polo well.

other than that i can't speak for because i can't stand anything hip hop/rap.

Posted by jfk-pilot on Sep-12-2007 13:28:

fuck, kanye really needs to get over himself, first of all, like everybody else said, its a shitty MTV award, i mean honestly how can you be mad at a company that fucking gave Britney a performance slot. He's pissy fit would have been more justifiable if he didn't win the grammy's.

Posted by EarnYourKeep on Sep-12-2007 13:31:

he's playing off pharrell, been played off of pharrell

someone has to tell kanye to drop the toy-tokoyo tip and bring it back to street rap. loud colors and fashion don't mean you spit bars and metaphors properly

and what's even more wack is that these young rappers who are stepping into the scene are ruining the underground fashion by making it mainstream. How? I saw yung buck on sucker free rocking a supreme hat and an ALIFE shirt...exclusive boutique days are madness

I remember back when Supreme wasn't even a thing, when zoo york rode thompson square park and under the bk bridge, supreme kids were just toys then, but now that they've gotten all hyped, the clothing line and gear have gone to shit yet they still charge crazy prices.

i keep it truly underground

as for kanye's reaction...why the hell is he trippin over MTV? it's MTV, if he was true to his rap game and confident about his record sales, he ain't need no award..nonetheless one from MTV. fame and fortune destroys all - stay gully

Posted by RJT on Sep-12-2007 13:46:

But that's just it - he isn't confident, and he knows that the level of quality he used to put out (production wise - he's always been a godawful lyricist) is gone for good.

Kanye is the epitome of what happens when you sell out to the MTV culture. I would shit in his elevator.

I had the displeasure of seeing Kanye live, he really is shit. Problem is, stunts like this give all his fans bad ideas.
