Looking at the dates from the past 3 or more years. Can we make an educated guess what the dates will be?

errr....what was wrong with my statement? it says the same thing yours does minus the set times. but those were obvious anyway.

and Mikey - 2 years ago the conference was early March - they dates bounce around too much to know for sure what week or what days. doesn't really matter - the hotels keep prices up knowing its going to be in March + spring break.

yea 10th anniversary and a new location!!! Still keeping fingers crossed there wont be a GG this year and rather something small like a bacardi b-live event thing. Dont need the competition in a genre that needs to spread out some more in the states.

ha, my bad i just re read ur post and i was a lil drunken when i read it before. i thought u said he was in the mainroom with tiesto.

sorry!

but anyhow wmc will be here soon, dates will be the 25-30 most likely. sander on the terrace and sunday school are two that should not be missed, the rest will all fall into place like it has in years past.

My boy Rizzo knows whats up!
"SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR DEGENERATES" is the not to be missed party of WMC.No question!!It's like raver college!!!
SSD is by far the best party of WMC for getting tanked beyond belief with everyone else whos brave enough to be awake the Sunday morning of WMC.And the hot fucked up chick facter was rediculious!!!!!

I stayed till past 7 o'clock!!I was on a mission that day I saw Lee Burridge for 7hours at the Barrage then went to SSD from 5:30am-7:30pm. Everytime i wanted to leave SSD some dj's whom i hold personally responsible for me not leaving like Konrad Black,Bill Patrick,Adam Beyer and Steve Bug started dominating.

Sick,sick,sick,

and dont let me get started about Sander on the terrace!!!!

This is on the Sunday after the closing parties? Closing parties are Friday and Saturday night and this is on Sunday?

So if I want to go for let say 4 nights. I should get flights leaving Wednesday (or Tuesday night red eye) and leave Sunday after this party above. (If I'm not dead by then)...shoot if I can survive 8 night in Ibiza...I can survive anything!

Sunday was the last day of the conference parties this year...but again, it varies. i've seen the conference end on a tuesday or wednesday before so don't make any assumptions as to the last day until the dates are announced. and no one really calls them closing parties like in Ibiza -its just the last day of the conference and its slower than the days before it.

Exactly,
It's on Sunday as it has been for the last 2 years and it will most likely be again. At the end of the week whenever that might be.

....i remember in 2006 that the conference basically wrapped up on a monday nite with a very small handful of parties on Tuesday...

damnit. they arnt moving it out of the park? Last year i heard they were told they cant use lasers anymore for the next one (2008) because of the finished construction. If there are no lasers the production and vibe drops quickly. Love dem lasers.

Also was told last year that in 08 if it stays oin the park the volume has to be lowered becasue of people moving into the new apartments there.

WEAK SAUCE!

RzO - check your calendar....last year tuesday was the last day and in 2001 (i think) it ended on a Wednesday.

and the WMC 'official' ending date usually is a day or two before the last parties.

i seem to remember Zabs and Fancuilli playing as well. And we chatted with David Guetta there who was just swinging by for a live radio interview.

Ya i like JZ and Nick but i feel that it was a good idea to put them togther for the reason that they both compliment eachother nicely.JZ is one of if not the best technical dj asid from Hawtin,Lee Burridge and a few other minimal djs right now. That being said i've seen Nick many times and hes not the best dj out there at all.He has excellent track selection that has gotten him where he is today,so to me its safe to say with Nick spinning the hot shit and JZ programming is a perfect combo.
They both wernt very good at the BBC party but i have heard that they tore it up at the Fifth. So i will chalk it up to them learning eachothers styles and forming together wich they have gotten better at as of late.
If ya need some newer sets from them pm me and ill show ya what im talking about.
