dang... already in 15 minutes..nasty...but I hate that "Space of Sound' voice over almost every 3 minutes.

i didnt recognize too many of the tracks he played couple of weeks ago. but i was super fucked up too. he closed with that do it again - chemical brothers. thats all i remember of the five hours. it was awesome. i hope sasha kills it like that next week when i go see him.

I was there and can confirm that it was an amazing set despite many of the spaniards didn�t know that God was at decks and they didn�t really warm up very much the atmosphere.

Sad they are still living on the 18th century!!!

looks to me like hes just playing tunes in no particular order its hardly suprising there was not much atmosphere, he doesnt build a set like he usually does i reckon he didnt give a fuk this time.
its also just every progtastic tune out at the moment really and not upfront or anything in fact.

did you even listen to this set?? lol... listen to the beginning after transit..not much atmosphere? you can hear people screaming his name out loud...if a great set was played hickville, usa and the crowd doesnt appreciate it, does it matter?

Wow.. he's really favoring Deadmau5 on this one.

Not sure about the set... haven't found the groove yet, and like it was mentioned before, it has been just a bunch of big name tunes splattered all over. Will keep listening though, but for the time being, c- as well.

B+ (minus some of the prydz and deadmau5 stuff, then its B-..not that its bad but didnt fit in)

i concurr, its like he didnt feel like digging for tracks. i understand that you cant play at 100%.all the time. there are some really good tracks. he talks about being prepared for his sets more now than before but not on this set.it is four hours though.i give it a b - .this just shows that even "God" isnt perfect.

I am glad to see some people finally starting to notice how unorganized Sasha has been lately. I have been saying that for a long time...

or maybe he knew it was going to be recorded..and didn't want to spill out all the goodies...

Maybe one of the reasons for being so disorganized is...just the way Ableton lets you wonder all over the place....hard to stay stable and structured with the system..I get a bit carried away myself...a bit different then vinyl.

his new label is about to launch, and his cd. im sure between flights and business its taking a toll on his djing. and trying to make tracks at the same time. hes my ninja though. ill check him out in person twice this month.cant wait.

btw.. he said in an ableton interview that he has to stay focused with ableton cause u can get lost with all the music. before u know it is time for the next track. maybe he got some good shit and couldnt stay focused.

That's a BIG part of the problem. Thing is, you really do not see or hear Sasha doing anything that crazy in Ableton though. His transitions on there sound like every other bedroom DJ in the world. He really lost that touch with working a crowd or coming out of nowhere with a huge tune that nobody has heard before. This is most likely why he is going to be doing his own label.

You can hear it in his sets, Sasha is bored doing this stuff, he has hit a dead-end. Maybe mastering Ableton is harder than he thought....

Tunes no one has heard before? Is it just me or Park in the shade still isnt confirmed, and if so isnt release. COMA track from other sets caused a huge stir and played awesome tracks in this set that arent released

100% agree, but I think it depends on how he's feeling. I've heard him do some nasty stuff with Ableton and I've seen him play live, he's "really" focused on what he's doing...glued to his iMac and constantly turning a knob. You can tell cuz he has this zoned out dumb looking expression on his face when he's really into it. Even though at times he's justing mixing from one track to another, the brilliance lies in the simplicity of things, Sasha is all about the minor things you don't really notice.

Still think his Zu House Set from 06 was brilliant. The structure, flow, mixing, track selection, programming...flawless. Could have been released as a mix CD.
