You asked do you think this shouldn't be shown in schools at all?
I said no and stated why, if you want to refute why it should, go right ahead.

schools, probably not. children dont have the capacity to assertain its accuracy. showing it in college or uni is fine imo.

Even then, you might want to exclude colleges located in places where the locals still point in the air, jaws dropped, when aeroplanes go by.

But they had a hoseline operating. Like I said, it was hitting the sidewalk across the street, but eventually they pulled back too. Then we received an order from Fellini, were going to make a move on 7. That was the first time really my stomach tightened up because the building didnt look good. I was figuring probably the standpipe systems were shot. There was no hydrant pressure. I wasnt really keen on the idea. Then this other officer Im standing next to said, that building doesnt look straight. So Im standing there. Im looking at the building. It didnt look right, but, well, well go in, well see.

So we gathered up rollups and most of us had masks at that time. We headed toward 7. And just around we were about a hundred yards away and Butch Brandies came running up. He said forget it, nobodys going into 7, theres creaking, there are noises coming out of there, so we just stopped. And probably about 10 minutes after that, Visconti, he was on West Street, and I guess he had another report of further damage either in some basements and things like that, so Visconti said nobody goes into 7, so that was the final thing and that was abandoned.

Firehouse: When you looked at the south side, how close were you to the base of that side?

Boyle: I was standing right next to the building, probably right next to it.

Firehouse: When you had fire on the 20 floors, was it in one window or many?

Boyle: There was a huge gaping hole and it was scattered throughout there. It was a huge hole. I would say it was probably about a third of it, right in the middle of it. And so after Visconti came down and said nobody goes in 7, we said all right, well head back to the command post. We lost touch with him. I never saw him again that day.

that should conclude your query if you REALLY do have honest questions regarding WTC7.

well testimonials are always good but you can't prove they are honest and genuine.

The same could be said of absolutely any transmission of information whatsoever.

oh cant i? so, you're saying this firefighter is lying? provide me with a SINGLE, plausible reason for someone at ground zero and part of the rescue effort for lying about something that they are a relative expert in their field concerning?

your honesty is becoming doubtful

Posted by Lilith on Sep-28-2007 01:45:

That's a basic premise for forming a factual opinion on anything, objectivity and a healthy dose of scepticism... least in intelligent people. Which are a rarer animal than academic qualifications may lead you to believe

exactly my point. Just like You may not believe me I may not believe the testimonials. Unless they come up with logics that I can't relate too. Ignorance is bliss.

Look, he may have in fact been a Blackwater Employee in Firefighter's garb specifically sent there as part of the original plot to misdirect the transmission of reports to a degree indiscernable by the general public or even amateur conspiracy theorists privelaged by internet rumour!

Posted by Lilith on Sep-28-2007 01:51:

Ah come on, their parents pay for them to go to college & school, that makes them perfectly qualified to have an objective criticism on things that happened 1000's of kilometres away and discredit trained personnel on site.

wtf? do you know ANYTHING about constructive debate? sheesh.

i have provided you with part of an interview from one fireman there on the day, speaking to firehouse magazine MORE HERE and detailing his experiences re WTC7.

you, on the other hand, asides from "oh, i dont believe you" have provided nothing to counter this evidence. that's all from me until you can show you really do have a commitment to engaging the topic at hand.

i can see what halycon was saying about you.

nope! no damage or fire here!

+1, and a documentary with a counter-argument should be shown also.

Well I supposed you saw when building 7 collapsed.

If you didn't here it is:

Maybe I'm not good at detail, but to me it looked a lot like this one but without the explosions in the inner columns.

anyway, im out of here. your initial comment that started this debate was clearly dishonest and disingenuous, and im not getting stuck into this with yet another fucking idiot who think their "internet sleuthing" is somehow superior to all the investigations by real experts.

i hope you and your father enjoy your deep-seated stupidity.

Experts? Where? You only came up with some firefighter testimonials. And lets clear this out. This is what my dad believes, not me. I also love how you appeal to insults when you state you aren't a rude person. Insults are a sign of weakness and defense if you didn't know. Hope you feel better.

If you really want to know more on this, there's plenty of debate that has gone on at the PDD. PKC is just usually rude and aggressive when it comes to WTC conspiracy theories. If you go read the PDD threat you'll understand why. He has documented his arguments better in the PDD thread, so if you are truly interested go read them there.

Well mostly I would say

Posted by Lilith on Sep-28-2007 04:13:

WTC theories are enough to make anyone swear and curse.

Pro Tip:
America, after 60 years of bollocking the rest of the world, some people hate you quite a lot and are willing to fly planes into your cities and blow them up.
Because you keep electing idiots into power, regardless of party preference.
It is not your government, they're too busy invading people for oil, playing footsies in airport toilets and cheating on their wives. Actually giving them credit for having the intelligence managing to pull it off is about as believable as the easter bunny.
They aren't that smart.

*end transmission*

I am trying to get a conversation started about the content discussed in this documentary, rather than getting dragged into the millionth WTC debate.

Personally, I think high school kids have the capacity to watch this objectively. Of course the teacher should mention that it isn't fact, and provide the counter points as well. I agree that all arguments should be considered to get a fair representation of the situation, and thus encourage younger people to make decisions for themselves, rather than being manipulated into believing one thing.

As for the law I mentioned...

I think it was referring to this:
