I don't know enough to comment about the style, mixing, track selection, etc. but what I can say is I like this mix more every time I listen to it. When I'm on the tube or when the radio is shit I usually switch over to this mix or your circus promo (yes, I still have it on my phone).

I'm waiting for "AG - Promo Mix Nov 2oo7.mp3" so don't slack off.

Protip: In December make a Christmas mix and a New Year. You bastard.

Fake edit: I would say Christmas/Hanukkah to be politically correct but all I could think of after typing that was that Billy Bunter announcer guy screaming "Make some noise for DJ Dreidelllllll..."

Anyways, back on topic...good mix.

Got a chance to give this a full listen yesterday and really love it, definitely my style of music.

The flow/track selection is perfect, and the mixing is Ableton in nature (flawless). Good job with this one dude.

Nice man, I like the trancy elements.. Good music that will constantly move the croud... all you need to do now is jump on the podium and do the god pose. Armin....

can u tell me times throughout the set that u feel have trancy elements? thanks

Posted by zeKsg on Oct-21-2007 16:59:

Not talking about breakdowns or anything lol, if thats what you think just little trancy elements all around) This is quite different from most of the house DJs i listen to..

The "trance" that sasha and digweed are playing these days is defo trance in my mind, it's where the genre should have gone in the first place rather than the played-out 2003 wannabe shit that seems to get produced most of the time these days and played on shows like ASOT and TATW.

I understand where the trancy comments come from, I play a lot of tunes with melodies that have distinct synthiness and prominent pads. Especially the first tune which sounds like a full on orchestra with a 4-to-the-floor beat.

I think this is the style that I really love to play, and the one I will keep playing (with variations of course), melodic but danceable, I think that's what I'm after.

EDIT: Thanks everyone for listening heheheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
