I'm talking about what you can discern from the piece of music, audible influences. What inspired the creator is quite irrelevant unless it reflects on the music in a way other people can understand. And all i'm saying is that there is no audible electro influence, even if he did say it was influenced by electro it wouldn't be anymore electro than it is death metal if that's what he said was the influence. i guessed what you meant but it was bad wording.. saying 'this isn't influenced by electro' is different to saying 'this has no audible electro influences' & you originally said the former

You're right, what i originally wrote is in a literal sense a claim that reaches beyond what i actually meant. Perhaps i could have said "as far as one can tell there is no electro influence" or more modestly "as far as i can tell...".

Yeah it samples it, it gives credit to simon le bon on the cover and on my vinyl of it theres a sort of 80's style remix of it, forgot what its called though.
