I quite like SG-1, really enjoy watching it, but I agree with pkc, it's a complete piece of shit.

Battlestar Galatica, like Star Trek, is unwatchable, boring and shit.

By shit I mean poor acting and cliche plots, poor effects etc.

Comparing it, even for a second, to star trek or SG:1 is quite ridiculous.

maybe, but i've been sick for nearly a week and caught some bsg while channel surfing, lucky i changed the channel in time

do you like black hawk down? i think its pretty good. ive only managed to see the book in myers once about 5 years ago so havent read the original yet.

yeah, i read the book and was quite surprised by how good it was. expecting a boring, repetitive narrative but it was really interesting. the movie is one of my all-time faves, seen it a dozen times and i love every minute of it. good music in it too
