having just bought some monitors myself i would recommend that you dont just read reviews but take some well known tracks in wav and go out and listen. listen out for the differences in Vocals, piano, guitar, and bass. After a lot of searching and reviewing i came to the conclusion that the bm6a's had a nice flat and crisp sound which suited what i was after. i managed to get my hands on some Quested q108s so i took those instead. It seems that monitors is a subjective topic so a bit of research followed up with teaching your own ear is a good place to start.
