youre aware plants are living too? i never said i was for or against abortion. infact i said parents should be able to kill their kids whenever they want.

LOOOOOL!

Wow, I didn't really realize how my last post really did suggest that I had gotten an abortion.

Luckily, no... I have never been irresponsible enough with my own body, and beliefs to get pregnant.

However, if I were to get pregnant, I *WOULD* get an abortion if I was in my first trimester.

Anyway, blah blah blah plants and boogers and the whole little planet of happy organisms living so gaily... I am too tired.

P.S. WTF "infact i said parents should be able to kill their kids whenever they want. "

LOL! Dude... that's not right.

Posted by I<3acid on Oct-02-2007 05:23:

so now its ok for you to tell me my beliefs are not right.

i just think its unsettling to see someone argue about this shit without knowing the definition of life.

i know the truth is that you don't consider anything living until it brings you to orgasm. THATS WHY IF I WAS A BABY ID RIP YOUR CLIT OUT AND SHOVE IT UP YOUR FUCKING PIG NOSE.

the point is theresa still has not defined "life" and when something becomes living to her.

this demonstrates that she is unsure herself, and as a result should not be making a decision as to when she should end somethings life.

A particularly annoying and probably soon to be banned one.

Anyway...
I don't think this kind of retro-active abortion thing is a good idea on the basis it's setting a precedent for the 'value to society' of the individual. Which isn't something I'd particularly liked to be judged on and much less by an administrative government authority which is barely able to balance taxpayers money on a good day, let alone decide on a set of standards to which this kind of thing would be judged.
As far as hypothetical futures go, it's far more likely with medical advances to eliminate the or reduce to a very small percentage the chances of 'non-viable' offspring being produced in the first place before this kind of barbarism is considered.

Well, that's the optimistic view, the more cynical side of me realises humanity is always capable of plumbing new depths of crap.

you kno I think dis is some really positive stuff, because when a woman ends up giving birth to the kid, then how is she supposed to care for him for example if she real poor? Kids with conditions need extra help so thus extra money. Also, if the mom wants to kill the kid after he is born with some sort of problems, wouldnt it be better to let the mom terminate the kid if she wouldnt love him as much anyway?

along the same lines children should be able to end their parents lives whenever they see fit. as long as they do it themselves of course

absolutely!!!
this form of trust would strengthen a family bond. knowing that at any time your loved one could kill you.

If you can't pay your landlord, are you allowed to kill them?
She could give it up for adoption. What's wrong with that? Certainly better than murder, wouldn't you say?

no. your logic is wrong. for instance, the spca recommends that if you can no longer pay to take care of your dog or cat, you should kill it.

why do you think prostitutes are murdered? the john didn't have enough cash. There is no better reason to end a life, than temporary financial difficulty.

if theresa would double up those shifts, she could afford her babies.

We're not talking about a cat or a dog, we're talking about a baby...it's innocent of anything for one, and it's a human for two. The latter is enough on its own.

Posted by I<3acid on Oct-02-2007 08:39:

lol that was all sarcasm... the spca is the society for prevention of cruelty to animals...

i dont recommend you kill anything. not even mosquitos. we all kill germs and other microscopic lifeforms, but i make up for that by being a host to many germs myself.

You don't kill mosquitoes?

Why?

Also, bullshit you don't kill mosquitoes. You feel a sting on your arm, you slap it, same as everyone. FFS.

Recently I read an article that proposed this idea for the medical future- If a woman has given birth to a baby with severe crippling or other conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, the woman should have the right to chose to have the child's life ended. This would be after the baby's birth, therefore no longer considered an abortion. What do you think?

Discuss.

you can get genetic tests for most of these types of diseases already and allow early termination.

Non-issue.
