because the point of a record label is to build artists

Ah yes build, that word that resides within the fine line of fame or exploitation.

So ... basically you're just in it for the money now?

You gotta give him credit for honesty though, and perhaps it will mean that the odd side project he does every so often will be super killer, and at least he's not selling out by making watered down versions of tracks he's already done.

Oh I think you missed the joke.

Anyway, I don't give a shit what does a musician spend his earned money on. However, when he's into it just because of that, the music he makes is almost never going to be good.

A video from the night

Some of you might say just dj but i prefer being at home and working in the studio than travelling the globe gettin caved by cabs planes and hotels!

Question: Do you think your location hurts you in this area? In both opportunities and (mainly) desire to travel? I mean, if you lived in america or in europe, you could easily just hop on a plan and be just about anywhere you want within an hour or two. If in america, you could just focus on one coast for travelling with the occasional trip to the other coast or overseas. Anyhow, shorter travel times is obviously less stressful since you can be home most of the week and then just travel on the weekends....and cheaper airfare for the promoters would make your more desireable. :P
