-- Charging for a mixtape?
Pages (2): « 1 [2]
i met a dj who sold mixtapes and asked him about it. he said it is legal to sell the mixtapes if you donate the money to charity. he was donating all of the money to his church
. i think the guy was full of shit...
but on a serious note, you gotta spend money to make money. my friends said i was crazy when i started djing and spent a boatload of money on my equipment. it was the best investment of my life. i never had to go all out with the promo mixes, but if i move to a big city it's something i'll have to do. it's just a small investment that will pay for itself easily.
i know a guy who makes mix tapes to feed his ego.
make really funny t-shirts, cheap really funny ones and sell them along with your cd. if you get em cheap enuogh charge $5 for both, of course label it as get a free cd with a shirt, but of course the cost of both is covered.
otherwise, dont spend so much money on cds :P
