In My Pocket is a glorious track.

excellent tests.

i can't tell the difference between wav and 320 kbps.

I don't know if I could tell 192 from 320 or wav on every track, maybe some.

definitely not in a club.

I do like to use wav and 320 mp3 however, just out of principle, so that things can only theoretically get reduced in quality (however detectable it might be)

the arabic loop used in my pocket is what i love about it. altho, it's been used before, in several other tracks (like this one, from 1999). i can't remember where it's taken from, but ye, that loop is immense

Huh, I'd never heard that track before, but I like it. I agree though - that loop makes In My Pocket a knockout. I used to play that at college parties all the time and people would always come up and ask who it was. Then they'd get all judgmental when I told them it was Mandy Moore. Good music is good music.

The main problem is shitty encodings, not the bitrate itself.

Posted by montana on Oct-05-2007 19:43:

stop talking about the damn encoding bollocks, it's a useless topic. now back to how cheesily awesome mandy moore is.

Posted by Allied Nations on Oct-05-2007 19:47:

I'm in! As long as we can listen to "Cry" on repeat afterwards.

Mandy Moore is a lot more interesting than reading people lie about their hearing ability for the sake of sounding l337.

The only reason anyone claims to be able to is because they know that no one here is ever going to have the opportunity to objectively test them, and until I see that happen, I simply won't believe it's possible.

Posted by noikeee on Oct-05-2007 21:37:

no

Posted by montana on Oct-05-2007 21:49:

"Because I Said So" was a nice clichee ridden romcom. i could tell how the "plot twist" ( plot twists in a romantic comedy) was after the first 10minutes and i knew who she'd end up with.

candy (hex hector mix) is such a choon!

Posted by RJT on Oct-05-2007 21:50:

When it comes to Mandy Moore movies, I'm all "Saved."

Brilliant film.

Posted by montana on Oct-05-2007 21:52:

now i have to see that

Posted by RJT on Oct-05-2007 21:54:

You can probably get it for less than $10 American - and the exchange rate is in your favor - so I might be inclined to call that the deal of the century.

No, I'm definitely inclined to call that the deal of the millenium.

Posted by montana on Oct-05-2007 21:58:

yes, i will buy it... at the nearest torrenttracker

Posted by RJT on Oct-05-2007 22:00:

Macauly Culkin is also in it. Win-win.

Posted by montana on Oct-05-2007 22:02:
