yeah i've seen that.

sorry to be a hater kids. but i've been spying this guy since 2006. if he lived nearby back then i would've stalked him... guess i'm a bit over it now after banging out all his stuff over the summer. i might take a little 3 month break and come back.

word to the wise - check out his productions with Melleefresh - some sick big room electro with hawt lyrics.

For me, those are easily the worst productions he's done.

I'm with RJT, I dont really think that's his best work. It's very dancefloor friendly though. I like the Burufunk remix and that's about it.

These days the learning curve for digital DJing are way slimmer than the vinyl days

Yea, just like he even says himself, he's not a "dj" in the traditional sense of beatmatching and mixing... more like a producer who warps tunes on Ableton and plays them out at gigs.

like darin said - they're absolutely dancefloor tracks. i guess something you'd know nothing about.

look i'm not dissing the dude. let's not go down that route. i enjoy everything that comes out of his studio and will definitely continue to buy the guy's music. i'm just saying i need a deadmau5 break because i've been actively listening to his sound since about last November and all the way through this summer i've been playing his stuff at gigs etc. and now i'm just a bit worn out with the electro.

i never said the stuff with Melleefresh was his best. i'd say stuff like - Lai/Tau v1 and v2/TL7/Trepid is a good example of his best productions for me. (see Rob i do like techy stuff)

that's ignorant. you're telling me you're really gonna judge a guy off samples from his myspace page.

check out his great stuff mix on proton radio then run your sarcasm.

I'm still scouring old hard drives and CD books for those special tunes that will make you reach for the lasers!

Dennis, weren't you the one who posted Deadmau5 in the "bring these artists to Chicago" thread not too long ago?

in the summer yes, and i don't think it was that thread, although it might've been.

...

Oh my god, FINE. DEADMAU5 is amazing and talented and the shit, I'd like to have his robotic-electro-techno babies and would totally go gay for him. He's superhardcoreduper and makes the best music in the world. I'd wade through rivers of bull-semen just to watch him fuck around on a xone 3d.

christ people, why can't i have an evolving opinion.

Love Poundin' Sensation

I would like to bring some PLUR to this thread, let's all make robot-electro-techno babies while listening to some Deadmau5 Barry White remixes..

And also mention that there has not yet been any h8 for the crobar security "NOBODY COME UP THE STAIRS WHILE I'm COMING DOWN, I GO FIRST OR YOU'RE ALL OUTTA HERE!!!"
