What is this and where can a get a copy of this track?!?

Ghost: Both are about the same. The language is a bit different, and in Korea there is more of a focus on boy/girl groups than on solo efforts.

wotyzoid: Yeah, I'm not a big fan of all those YouTube videos that put some song over Kingdom Hearts scenes. The game isn't THAT good people

hikari / simple & clean was the main theme of kingdome hearts.

and i used to like, well, i still sort of like some jpop. most stuff i listen to nowadays is some of the hikaru utada albums. "first love" & "deep river", but i tend to pop in hamasaki ayumi's duty once a while aswell. m-flo is/was? good also, edit. also Pizzicato Five, but i think they never really was jpop in the modern sense just shibuya-kei stuff

No, buddy, that is the actual opening scene from kingdom hearts.
Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean (PlanitB Remix)

edit: and I have to disagree with the comment about kingdom hearts, freaking greatest game of all time. Simply because it is the best match up of characters in theory and it pulled it off brilliantly.

M-Flo is good. I don't know what they're up to lately but I know I want to buy a copy of Astromantic and their remix CD soon...

And I know that is the main theme of the game (I should know since I own a copy). I just stopped watching anything on Youtube with KH footage because of all the crappy "remix" videos that are out there

On the plus side KH did introduce a lot of people to Utada Hikaru, who has a lot of amazing material besides "Hikari" and "Passion". I'm a big fan of her First Love and Deep River albums. Distance had some great tracks on it but wasn't the greatest album as a whole. I liked Exodus, but it seemed a bit too experimental to catch on in the states I should pick up a copy of Ultra Blue soon.

I still play out the Richard Vission or Scumfrog mixes of 'Devil Inside' Heck, I should try dropping the entended PlanitB mix of 'Simple and Clean' at my next gig!

It's the third track off of the 'Colors' single:

Amazon has it.

(I'm sure you can find it for less with some searching)

Damn 16 for only one usable song!?

http://www.amazon.com/Colors-Hikaru...91988533&sr=8-9

It IS a CHOON though...

Yeah its pricey. I got mine through special order with my local record store (which is now closed ) for $10. The price won't be much better even if you went to Japan, where it would retail for ~1200 yen ($10-11).

At least be glad that you're not trying to find this on vinyl. J-Pop stuff on vinyl is close to impossible to find over here...

LOL true. tell me something though, the real song does it start and end slow like the extended version from p2p?

It's the boss theme for the game "Blue Dragon"... if you search "Ian Gillan Eternity" on youtube you can get to hear. It's a real love it or hate it song!

Yeah, there is a heartbeat sound at the beginning of the track.

Venire: Good stuff! I love it when a subbed video has subs in a language I half-know (espanol FTW)

Mr. Game + Watch: That track was pretty cool. I like it.

Here is Misia's new single, 'Any Love'. I like how subtle the changes in the video are, with the colors on the top and bottom, etc.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M.o.v.e

Romancing Train tatsumaki remix is ch00n

Here are a couple of gems that I found while on t3h YouTubes:

M-Flo - Get On (Ugly Duckling Remix)

I like the song, and the video is quirky fun!

and a mashup between M-Flo and Justice - D.A.N.C.E (MSTRKRFT Mix) that turned out really well:

I might end up playing that one out

Can't believe you're still alive, considering that you just come out of nowhere and manage to make yourself look like an ass with a single sentence and an emoticon.

Don't confuse woscar with mikey

Please don't feed the trolls

Are there any more J-Pop mashups like the one I posted?

Thanks in advance.

I thought I'd share some new videos that I found:

Perfume - Chocolate Disco (really catchy!)

and someone finally started doing videos covering the Oricon charts:

I really like that the Oricon charts are now available like this. It helps me match up songs with the names that appear on that chart

Any of you heard of Eurobeat? that's pro lol
