THAI!!!!!!!!! Can't get enough!

an honourable mention though, is butter chicken! wholely crap that stuff is good, dipping in the Naan, served ontop of basmati rice, with curry and cumin added!

For me it was a close tie between Japanese and Mediterranean (mainly sharwarma), but I had to vote for Japanese since it offers a lot more variety.

The origin is actually untraceable since many countries claim to have originally created them. It's definetly a traditional food in many Slavic cultures, but mainly in Poland, Ukraine, Russia.

on that note..Eastern European Food should have been included

Well, I love all ethnic food, but my fav would be Indian mmmmmmmmm chicken tikka masala yummy, Thai - coconut curry, American - mmm those burgers, Korean - mmmmmmmm Bulgogi, and Japanese - Sushi and Terriaky;P

I was gonna add Greek but Mediterranean is very similar :P I find...

Posted by malek on Oct-16-2007 14:38:

yeah you did a great job lumping all mideterrenean (greek, syrian/lebanese, turkish, maghreb, france, spanish, balearic, ...) food in one category!

I would love to see your reaction if somebody lumped all the five east asians cuisines as Chin cuisine.

I lived in a moderately big and modern city, and not in some mountains, so I don't know what's that...

Posted by Tordan on Oct-16-2007 14:58:

I can't pick just one as my absolute favorite so I'm going by region... asian (chinese, indian, middle eastern etc.), mediterranean, latin american, caribbean, european... in that order.
