Jason,,you have really upset me tonight..You consantly ask for mine and my friends support whilst abusing us behind our backs...I'm sick of hearing that without your support we'd be nothing but to be honest I'd rather be nothing than an inseccure piece of shit like you...I've defended you for so long with the hope of being able to book you one day..I'm sick of your messages each day and being bombarded with posts begging me to bump your threads.....Fuck you Jason,,,I'm done...Didn't realise you wanted me to be your manager just to fuck other people over......

Defended me from what? And I'm sorry, I told you a bunch of times the reasons why I can't play for you or dj one of your events.

Manager? Steven, I barely even know you, literally, i barely know you or anything about you...

Furthermore, I really have absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about on any of those accounts.

I have absolutely no idea why you are attacking me out of the blue and it's mind boggling that you are even posting this.

I'm sorry I can't play for you or for any of your events, it's out of my control.

Ok whatever that means.

You know man. People know how hard I've worked for so many years, all of the sacrifices I have made and continue to make.

They also know how supportive I am of local dj's and of the scene here in general.

You have been on this board (a part of our community) for less than a year, and all I ever see from you are negative posts and drama.

The reality is, I'm not Digweed (not even close). But I do travel extensively playing some of the top clubs in the world. I own and run a well respected label. How many other dj's who are in my position post on this forum or publicly at all?

I'm a part of this community and have many friends here. I value this community and my friends and hope to be a part of it for a long time.

So please, if you want drama, find it somewhere else. I don't want to be a part of it.

He's a good dude.

But the reality is that most dj's won't post on public forums. I don't have to explain the reasons behind this, I'm sure you know.

My point was that I'm a part of this community and have many friends here. I value this community and my friends and hope to be a part of it for a long time.

I don't want drama. Especially drama that is uncalled for.

What has Jason done to upset you awfully tonight? Nowhere in this thread have I seen anything but praise for JJ and a decent NYC following that is dedicated to attending his event.

Why is there animosity towards him, who've you'd acknowledged as a very talented and dedicated DJ, facts which we all know, on many of occasions?

I'm not coming at or defending either of you, but it just seems kinda out of place.

Jason throws down banging music, enough saids.

Stop the politics and enjoy yourself....

I'm glad to say that the young man that I can see a future in that aspect at the moment and also posts on this board is Eco. Yes Jason has been working hard and getting his work done like he should over the years and the made-event gigs have helped him out alot not only get him his own night, but helped his following in New York as well. But I must say I'd watch out for DJ Eco, this kid not only dj's one hell of a party (Last one being opening and closing for Marco V at Avalon which was outstanding) but also you TA's you have been to the strobelife parties that he has thrown and have done tremendously well.

Eco has built his following from the ground up and I'd say getting close to Jollins and lets not forget he's only 20 years old and has accomplished alot in less then a year then what some kids dream of there life time in this "unbalanced" industry. I think if Made Event were to give Eco a chance to open lets say for Ferry, G&D or any of the artists that Jason has opened for I think Eco would not only attract more people such as the older crowd he has established from his previous gigs, but also attract the younger and upcoming generation that will shape the scene in the next couple of years.

The only thing that Eco has not done is started his own record label which he is too busy for since he is in college and worried about more jump starting his career and focusing on productions because in this day and age everyone wants to try and be a "DJ" and your are NOTHING unless you produce. If everyone doesnt know, he has played in Italy at some of the most prestigious clubs playing along side some of the greatest artists in the scene such as Mauro Picotto and Richie Hawtin.

But Yes Jason you have accomplished alot and I for one do salute you on your headling gig at Pacha

Posted by chf42 on Oct-26-2007 06:49:

There's no doubt that Eco has talent. I've listened to a few mixes of his and known this already. It doesn't mean that Jollins should go unrecognized in favor of Eco, they both are talented and both are bringing EDM in the proper direction...

Opening for Marco V at the age of 20 is quite the fucking accomplishment, no doubt about it.

Opening for AvB, G&D, and Above and Beyond, at no matter what age, is quite the accomplishment as well.

We're all here in favor of good music, and nothing else. We don't get paid for posting, pretendding, or proviing for friends, so let's just all shut the fuck up about who is the best, best producer, or best sell-out, and have some fucking fun....

My $.02

Can't agree more my friend but "someone" said who does what jason does and posts publicly and I had to bring that up

Had to vent people on this board do alot of blah blah blah and not enough action but thats life in general either deal with it or get the fuck out

Posted by vzion0124 on Oct-26-2007 07:08:

Did I say him? Nope not at all if u looked at my first post I am all for Jason and his second headline gig, I'm just saying that there is alot of talent going un-noticed and I think it should be given a shot thats all and that alot of people talk shit and knock people down on these forums because they are either jealous or can't do it themselves thats all not singling anyone out or pointing any fingers. No need to be rude darling to show me all of jason's gig's believe me everyone knows where he plays and how he does
