hmmmmm... i still like to relax from all the hard, deep, underground trance by listening to sandstorm and some other what you would call cheese

Posted by Ravesquad on Apr-26-2002 20:14:

I liked it until i found out Darude was finnish i know its a bad reason but many of my swedish friends agreed with me.. it just became so lame somehow..

Posted by Dj Zinni on Apr-26-2002 20:41:

I dont know I found it on AG it is called Darude - Omnibus, prolly a fake, but its kind of addicting I mean it has a sample of sandstorm, but they change the pitch as it repeats.

i LOVED this song when it first was around...

Now i listen to it, and it sounds like pure cheeze.

it's not a terrible song though...save that for songs like The Whistle Song!!

I bet all tranceaddicts feel the same way. They liked the song before until it reached mainstream. I at first thought it was alright when they played it on the radio couple times, but once people starts classifying it, then it pisses me off. For example, my friends aren't into trance and we bring up the subject about how I like trance. and then they come out saying, "so you like songs like darude - sandstorm and alice deejay - better off alone?" Thats when it comes too far!

Never liked Sandstorm. Never liked it before, hate it even more now.

Posted by Tukan on Apr-28-2002 07:21:

At first I liked it on the radio just cause it was a trancey/techony (I'm not good with the genres) song that was on the radio!!!
That's a big moment when you live in New Zealand.
But after a short while I began to hate it...
BTW I heard Marc et Claude - Tremble on the radio. Of course it's a terrible version of the song, but they still better now overplay it or I don't know what I'll do...

Posted by Tukan on Apr-28-2002 07:29:

Omnibus??? That means 'of all' or 'to/for all' depending on context in Latin......
But that's probably not where it's from...

Posted by thomassster on Apr-28-2002 07:56:

Theres a song on the radio by lautsprecher called omnibus or omnipus, different spellings when searching on AG. Also found warp brothers - omnipus. Didn't see no darude and not thinking he made that song.
