yeah, yeah, i know, but ugh, driving down is exhausting. not sure if i'll go to both shows in SD and OC, gas is expensive these days.

For me and Taj's Birthday event, I played an Airwave remix I have been workin on live in the mainroom. Id love to do the same thing again, but this time with a remix of Evbonith's One Wish. Ive picked up a couple new keyboards from M-Audio.

An additional track I have been working on is a Epic Trance remix of Phil Collins - In the Air Tonight. It has a breakfast feeel to it, very uplifting. Im sure something you all will enjoy hearing when I open this night. There is also a hard driving beat that just gets you moving too.

The second track I have been working on at the latter of this year is a new remix of the old Watergate tune, Heart of Asia. I been keeping this one underwraps. Im also hopeful it will be done in time for the Rank 1 event.

One thing I have learned about production is that you take your time. I want these tracks to make an impact, so its taken me 3-6 months to complete them since they the first ones youll hear by me.

90% sure that I will be adding onto the CD for the November show if it nears completion. I've asked my buddy Sean Tyas to take a listen to it also to give me his reaction to thet track, and will be sending this over to Thrillseekers to see what he thinks, maybe add their special touches to it if possible. Possibly even a rework or remix might come out of this from Thrillseekers and Tyas. Lastly, if he has time, Dirtyhertz will be helping in finalizing it for me.

If you all havent heard Dirtyhertz's remixes and work, I highly recommend you do.

+ 1 on brining Tom Colontonio out. Id love to hear him rock the mainroom. Tom, I played Astral a few months back when I opened for Thrillseekers, needless to say it got the crowd goin bro.

I definitely would love to see SFTA's and LATAs in the house for this one.

This is going to be one of the most sickest, dirty synth, tech set to date! I'm loving what Rank 1 is doing these days. Once when Beats @ Rank1 Dot Com came out, I knew these guys were gonna come out with a lot of great tech bombs!

Rank 1 killed it @ the USC Halloween gig last night. Spoke to him about playing SF & he replied that he "loved the club."

As a keyboardist, I looked up to Rank 1 for many years in the rave scene. Coming back from the rave we would often listen to Rank1 tracks, including the infamous tune Awakening. Along side discovering my love for Electronic Dance music, Rank1 to me will always be 2nd to none.

I finally got a chance to meet and Thank Piet Bervoets on New Years day this year, meeting the man himself I witnessed at Sensation and Trance Energy was truly an honor in itself. Being able to open for this man is a challenge, I am 100 confident that he is gonna rock the shit outta the club when he arrives Nov 17TH. If you all recall, he started this year out with us by playing Airwave as the clock struck Midnight.

Being in the crowd above in 2001, was an experience I will remember for a lifetime.

The mix I will create for November is tennatively entitled:
Dj Blurr - Adreneline (Rank1 Tribute Remix) which will contain remixed tracks and favorites from Rank1, along side new released tracks from favorite artists of mine. I have alot of tracks to go through, Ill have downloadable copies avaliable, and 300 or so to give away the night of the event.

Video is almost complete also, and youll here more from me as the weeks come! As always, TA's are welcome to request a track to be played durning my opening set, if I have it, I just might play it! Let me know!

Watch for my bulliten on myspace also, and email me to get on my guestlist for this exciting evening!

I do have to admit after checking out Rank1's myspace, hearing the original Airwave sure brought back a few good memories.
