Poser? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH DISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Your incorrect use of punctuation shows you know nothing about the English language (boro's nice).

All I said is the boroughs are a bit more dirty and boring than the city. Are you telling me that's not true?

To be fair, 99 percent of english speaking people punctuate incorrectly.

My wife did costume on that show for six years (criminal intent)...Vincent Denofrio is the biggest asshole I ever met...But I'm sure even he would admit that the good places to get murdered are few and far between...

boro = my abbreviation for borough (It is the first 4 letters of the word now isn't it?)

So are you telling me you actually type things like "laugh out loud" instead of LOL. I thought I was typing on forum. Not writing a biography.

The BOROUGHS don't bore me, so yes I am telling you it's not true. I guess that is based on your perception of fun, and whether or not you have friends of course.

P.S. For someone who wasn't born here I think my English is just fine.

by city, you mean manhattan? b/c the five boroughs make up new york city, no?

btw, you have no idea what you're talking about.

i meant to say manhattan. it's the true city, the rest of it is just slums.

that's pretty lame even as far as photoshopped pictures are concerned.

north jersey is a pretty tight spot though, u got the city 15 min away, the shore 30 min away, any kind commercial establishment within 10 miles... what more could you ask for?

your moronic posts ooze of complexes rooted in geographic inferiority. run along.

i submit you take a drive through clinton hill newark, greenville jersey city, irvington, or camden. Those are slums all of which are worse than anywhere i've ever been in nyc, and coincidentally located in jersey.

btw, while you're driving around take a detour through brooklyn and check out manhattan beach, brooklyn heights, park slope, and bay ridge. Far from slums and probably too expensive for you!

i guess it depends if u have a car or not. if u have a car queens would be perfect. you really do find nice places for same or less that manhattan. if you dont have a car, try to stay the closest possible to the city since thats where it all goes down, unless u dont really care about happy hours, lounges, shows and all that u leave it for the weekend then location is irrelevant.
i dont have a car and when i lived in queens i wanted to kill myself, same thing goes to brooklyn. now i live in the city and im much happier, but then again i like to go out for drinks every day, but thats me, i guess youre gonna have to try out for yourself! hope this helps!
by the way, you should really try and get a roommate, preferable an out of towner so u can relate and venture into the city together and meet people and what not, it would be an easier transition than by yourself, unless u already have a group of friends here, i dont know that much about u hehe. anyway, good luck!!!! and welcome to new york!

hahah! I know, how can people from JERSEY talk about slums?!?! ffs.

btw jerz are you getting yo ass to the city yet or what?

....I just realized the original poster hasnt even commented. I think we scared him ........

Posted by blenderx on Oct-25-2007 04:17:

hey! it's called dirty jersey for a reason.

sure, there are expensive places in queens, etc. that's not the point. He wants to live in the CITY, not the reject outskirts of the city. People live in the other boroughs only because they want to live close to manhattan and they can't necessarily afford the kind of place they want in manhattan, not because they like queens or brooklyn.

guys don't get mad at me just cause im dissin your hood, try to be objective!

^^I am not trying to diss you, I am just saying you are obviously not from here because you are not giving the right info to people.

that's bullshit....i would much rather live in BK heights or park slope than any part of the city, with the exception of riverside park on the UWS.

you just proved my point

rep your hood.

i've lived in jersey my entire life, and brooklyn has nicer neighborhoods (in the real sense of the word "neighbor") than any part of jersey. Those shitty little suburbs are nothing special. Hoboken is the best part of north jersey, and it's exactly like many parts of brooklyn; that's why people love it. if NJ is so great, then real estate prices would be comparable to those BK neighborhoods, which they aren't.
