First time Mauro played System was the best. Was in 2001.

He played that track.. it's called "One night in New York City" and it's by the Horrorist. I hunted it down after hearing it

I will be spinning all original vinyl late 80s newwave, early 90s house, acid and chicago house at Global Village on November 24th, if you all want to be taken back!

Wouldn't it be cool if DJs actually did dust off their old records and played retro sets?

I'd definitely go to a party like that.

Especially for those of us, that were not old enough (you and I) to see these magical era in time.

Hell I wish I could have been part of the pre-2000 scene, just to be able to go out and hear trance at local venues, with locals playing out.

I don't remember which club it was, but somebody held a retro night last year, and I was gutted I couldn't make it.

Carl Cox - 96-99

i hear yah...i didn't start clubbing til the end of the magical old skool genres of trance/techno/house. By 2003, most djs were already in the wave of progressing their sound, because trance wasn't as cool anymore. now in 2007 i'm not even as much into trance anymore, but the classics would still destroy me in a club!
