My Twitter blew up the second it happened. That was neat. Damn near crashed my BlackBerry. 
I live a bit farther from the epicenter, Palo Alto, but we still got a pretty good shaking. Everything on my desk and shelves started wobbling, the building was clearly rocking back and forth somewhat. I'm a bit lit so at first I didn't know if I just imagined it, but yeah, it's real. My first real earthquake since moving here!

i live a bit over 5 miles south from the epic center and i felt my house place was going to fall apart as a swung back and forth. sister was scared shit less. hope everyone is ok.
edit: ... and just as i move to the east side

WTF! Brought back memories of '89. I hope that was the only one! At first I thought the neighbors upstairs were brawling but soon realized the reality of the situation when our cat freaked out. I ran outside to tell sis before she went to the store but she was already gone. When I called her she said she didn't feel it. Now she's bummed caused everyone felt it but her.
Stay safe! My pops was at Candlestick in '89, said the top of the stadium looked like rolling waves of concrete.

Buddy of mine lives in San Jose, said it sounded like a thunderstorm and that he had to shout to talk to his wife.
Me... I'm just looking forward to my beachfront property.
