Very. I hit this massive void.

With a few minor exemptions. I bought them on DVD, so technically it's not TV, right?

Well sure there are exceptions. I can count about seven to ten shows that I enjoy watching, but that's a vastly minute number compared to the number of programs that cable TV offers.

Yep, I can think of about 10 quality series. Sadly, a decent proportion of them are no longer in production (if I ever meet the guy who axed Firefly, I will kill him, his family, and then burn down his house, and the houses of everyone he knows).

There are a couple of newish ones I would like to check out too, and I'll happily buy the first series on DVD to see what it's like. Better visual/sound quality, and no fucking ads. If I don't like it, I'll sell it on ebay.

I don't have cable TV though. I just can't imaging paying for that many channels of shit that I won't watch, because it's shite.

I highly doubt any studio is gonna create all their shows for your demographic

Fuck it man, I'm all for it. I rarely watch TV anyways, and the TV I do watch I rarely watch live. Right now I'm watching early x-files episodes and about to start season 3 of lost. who needs cable?

i dont really care, i dont watch any tv shows where writers are on strike. but i do agree, they should get a larger paycut.

the one good point is that im only really waiting for season 4 of BSG, and they were planning to split the series into two on US networks (which is just fucking shit) so maybe they'll play it all at once and the DVD will be here sooner? who knows.

Haha! I love Firefly!

BSG rocks though. I dunno, even though they both space themed, I don't think they really compare, genre-wise.

I know Serenity was pretty good, but I think they've ditched the idea of a sequel to that as well.

Fuckers.
