I dont really care if people dont pay for their music though.... Only reason i pay for it is so that artist hopefully know what people like by how much each track makes and make soemthing similar ....

A lot of people know about flac...I've been hoping beatport will start selling tunes in flac for a long time.

FLAC reduces file size by about 30% compared to wav but the whole point of FLAC is that it decodes into a bit-for-bit identical copy of the original wav. so FLAC isn't really better unless you can't afford storage. yes, I'll take it over wav if it's available, and definitely over mp3, but no it's not so much better to be worth spending any time searching for.

For the amount of money they are making i dont see why not, i dont see why they couldn't spend 100 bucks more a month for more bandwith.

I would pay more for a wave file then 320, thats for sure.

But see, in the end this all makes tooooooooo much sense. So in reality i doubt they will do it, but i am sure some one else will soon enough...
