This is a stretch, since I was only there once and it was over two years ago, but is that near Seattle? I forget the name of the park.

I'd really love to get into photography. Trouble is I don't have a camera that produces anything of good enough quality.

I don't recognize it. I'll fail at Seattle if it actually is...

You may be able to find a darkroom at a local uni or arts center which will let you use their supplies for a usually pretty small fee. Also, you can usually find an old but fully functional SLR pretty cheap, craigslist/flea markets etc. Got one I used for a while for like 15 bucks.

Fuck i'm awesome. I stopped there for an hour or two on a cross country road trip like 2 years ago. Something about the steps and the bench together just reminded me of there.

Ninja: just checked google maps, turns out i was across the water in the US in olympic park. Oh well, still close

haha you know what, i just realized that pic was taken at mount doug, in victoria - but all my other foresty pics were taken at beacon hill. This one is pretty much the same type of area as the others.

But that's really cool... i think you may have mentioned to me on Deviant art that you were in the area.. or something. lol

Some of my favourites, and then some of my turnouts, where I see a great view but the camera/me don't capture it....

i dunno why i like that, it's just the contrast between a 10ft high sanddune and the sky i think

i just like it

because it turned out & i dunno why my others didn't when i shot on the same settings more or less

I electrocuted my brother

doesn't bring the sun out how i'd like

Appreciated!

That was a Nikon DSLR that I borrowed from a friend. It's in Seattle overlooking Lake Union. 2 second exposure, f/5. Pick a lighted/bright centeral poing. Zoom in, start zooming out quickly while depressing shutter, let exposure finish while zoomed out. Pretty simple really!
