Clearly, there are differences in taste when it comes to music, DJ's and venues.

Tommy does have a point. Why must you guys (no name calling) interfere on a thread in which you have interest in other than to hate.

The only thing this missing from this thread is a DaveT comment.

It look like Laurent Garnier has more old school EDM fans and Guetta has more new school pop fans. (which the old fans call "cheesy")

Fact is that when I make my decision on what event to attend, I include factors such as venue, crowd and personal contacts who I know will be there. Partying with people you know always beats going to a place in which you know no one.

hahahaha! i remember that. that was the same night Hernan Cattaneo opened for him. when guetta started playing his top 40s shit you and i looked at each other like WTF! we were waiting for ryan seacrest to hop up on the mic and give some shout outs. it was so bad we had to leave and find a club with some good music to wash our ears out. there was no way i was going home with his cheese tracks stuck in my head all night.
